You almost make it sound like having an indepth gameplay trailer would've made the EUR 100 price point sensible or better :V

Nah, but at least we would know how the game looks like...let's be honest, we already know, it's a more of the same and probably will get 90+ scores despite being the exact same thing it was.

4€ purchase for me (for the Gold version of course).

You gotta adjust it for inflation.

Some hot garbage (maybe? Some dupes I've yet to check out), no need for thank you PMs I forgot to add the nothanks rule -.-

For you.
100€, in app-purchase, and only a cgi as "trailer".
Ok.

I think they probably don't really have any decent slices of gameplay to show off just yet. The leak of the game probably forced their hand and they choose to outright reveal the game now since discussion of the game has been pretty big since the leaks.

I doubt it, the game is out in 5 months, so probably Monolith worked on it for a while.

I don't doubt that, I'm just saying that they don't have proper slices of the gameplay ready to show, like I said. It would probably be revealed a few weeks later with gameplay if it wasn't for the leak.

oh man, those regional prices are something else

prices3lksf.png
Well, RIP cheap new AAA releases from russians, their price is even higher than in CIS now lol. WB are delusional if they think that somebody in CIS or RU will buy it for such price, it's literally half of monthly wage for 90% citizens of this region.

MUnited83

For you.

That's pretty cool.

How about they spend the money on fixing their mess of a game instead?
That's implying that money or budget is what is stopping them from fixing the game. The 4000$ wouldn't make any difference to the state of the game, so i don't see why it's bad to reward modders with some of the egregious money they have earned already.

Now there's a Twitch launcher, eh? No use for it unless you want to play their game studio offerings. Or if you're a big part of the community which I'm not at all.

Why is there an infinite amount of VR sets?

Why would they need to fix their game if they have the most popular Steam game not made by Valve?

I mean I agree it looks horrible and runs probably the worst of any modern PC game, but apparently there's enough people with poor eyes and taste that they don't really need to fix anything. If I were the devs I'd sit back and watch my back account grow while trying to think of new things to charge people for. It is a business after all, and the active numbers are showing people are happy with the product they're playing.

SteamVR is happy to support anything, but this is much more than that - likely a prototype showing a leap forward again for VR - and still expensive because of it. But this should bring other headsets down in price in time.

Expect SMI's Eye tracking and foveated rendering. Perhaps wireless also

It very much seems to me like exactly this is happening with most survival games on steam.

Yeah, of course. Earning some community goodwill by paying modders to complete mods is a great idea; they will then probably sell these as expensive DLC to their alpha game (perhaps without giving a cut to the creators for max profit) and easily make back their investment multiple times.
The power of YT/Twitch influencers who keep the game relevant I guess.

I just checked a recent video of the game on YT because I was curious and... it still has the same shit UI and animations back when I tried it in 2015. Always nice to see some progress in the right direction with these EA survival games 👌

Fuck yes!

There is an exceedingly small number of high-end VR headsets compared to e.g. monitors.

In the ecosystem Valve envisions, which is the only true way to bring VR to PC in a PC-like fashion, you can make a HMD choice depending on your requirements, preferences and budget like you make a monitor, mouse or keyboard choice.

I think I'm gonna take it slow progressing through Hollow Knight. I don't like that you cross these rooms and check/save points are spaced far apart. I started the 2nd area and decided to just make a beeline to the save/check point and do the same as I keep progressing in the game.

I really like the look of the free game. Do they ever plan on putting it on steam?

Edit: Nevermind the youtube video is actually the full game lol. Not much of a game and fairly short.

Virginia is $5, getting it along with that free game doesn't sound like a bad deal to me.

Well, they really went there. I have to wonder what those bloody fucks at Microsoft are hoping to gain by this... 2017 to be finally the year of the Linux?

Don't worry, Sweeney is crazy.

Microsoft loves us and would never ever do anything to endanger the future of open computing on their platforms.

I would get either that or Diaries of a Spaceport Janitor. Pretty good pick ups.

Something in the pit of my stomach though echos feeling of bundle material. I hate to say that but it just feels like I've been conditioned to wait it out a bit.
