Found that image, don't know if it has been posted.
Appearently, you can set a bear on fire and then ride it, leaving behind a trail of fire.
Need to try it myself!

Also I am curious is there another way to go through the castle from the inside rather than climbing? I wanted the hylian shield but I couldn't find it, so I guess it's inside.

There's a bunch of ways through the castle. There's even an NPC at the Hyrule Field stable that gives you a quest to raid the castle for treasure, and gives advice on different approaches into and through it-- "Like a Goron" (through the front and along the road all the way), "Like a Rito" (glide in from the sides or the back, or "Like a Zora" (swim through the moat and enter one of the lower entrances).

I like that you can just go straight to Ganon but they probably made it a little bit too easy to skip everything and do so without even meaning to. I wonder how many players even end up going inside at all with how easy it is to climb up a few waterfalls/towers and just end up at Ganon's doorstep.

Alright, completed all 120 shrines. Upgraded my stamina all the way, then my hearts. I only ended up with 27 hearts total. I'm missing 3 of them and I definitely picked up each one after the 4 dungeons. Is this the way it's supposed to play out? Either upgrade hearts all the way or stamina? Or are there 3 secret hearts somewhere?

Inside is where all the loot is at. When people complain about running out of good weapons or arrows, all I can think is "Damn, they never went in Hyrule Castle".

Every Blood Moon, I warp to the shrine inside the castle, clear the docks, and take the flame sword there.

There's a fuggin' shrine inside Hyrule Castle?

I love this game.

The lore building in Zelda is a piece of crap compared to Dark Souls / Bloodborne.

The darkness came to get the souls but the souls were too dark for the darkness so they made a fire that would burn the darkness but the souls of the dark were too dark for the fire so the dark soul fire didn't burn.

Sounds like Kingdom Hearts levels of 'lore'.

Zelda is not better though so I guess every body loses

I read you have to face the Blights before Ganon if you haven't beaten them at the beast. Also the figh is more (actually) difficult.

I think The poster meant skipping the castle entirely and just climbing it. As in there's probably people that beat Ganon and don't know the castle has a library, dining hall, prison, etc.

I never go this complaint about Twilight Princess. Ganondorf shows up after the fourth dungeon. That's nowhere close to the end of the game.
Ganondorf was hinted but not build on. At the end he talks with an arrogance and planning like he has been using the power of the Gods for years when in reality he just got them.

I find Ganondorf lame when he is manipulative because he is at his best when the threat he represents is very clear.he works more as a classic villain instead we got many fanboys dissapointed when they realized it was Ganon, light arrows and the master sword at the end again.

Kinda similar to Demise in Skyward Sword but their dynamic changes a bit.

Yes you can do it. :p
Kind of lame to skip that part but i guess they wanted to say "you can go to to the final boss after starting the game!"

Man Link has no luck. Can't get with his cool Zora girlfriend has to hang with an insecure tech nerd for the foreseeable future. The worst timeline.

Summer can't come soon enough i hope hard mode also adds in real survival mechanics. I hope it adds gold enemy variants and makes the bosses much stronger/smarter same for all other enemies.

Hopefully the cave of trials has all bosses too and all enemies. And when the Story DLC comes if that adds new enemies add them all over the over world + in cave of trials.

I hope E3 teases the dlc and i hope it's after beating Ganon the ending hinted at dlc, and i rather have it take place there than 100 years in the past that would be boring. Hopefully they get the voice acting for the dlc right they have all the time now.

Lol I just finished the main quest 47 hours and I'm yet to see a bear in the game. I was actually thinking to myself earlier "Why aren't there any damn bears?".

There's a shrine inside Hyrule Castle? Well, damn. This game is the best.
Not surprised at that.

Yeah. And they even put it center frame. I didn't need to see her in yoga pants with a complete thigh gap lol
I'm more disappointed that trident-wielding Ganon wasn't the final form to fight, instead of the tamer TP-throw back of a gigantic boar standing still in the middle of Hyrule Field.

The only blemish in an otherwise fantastic game.

I just beat the game. The ending and overall story is pretty weak. The gameplay is good, I like the climbing and exploration parts the most. Scoping out an area for enemies and creating a plan was a lot of fun. I didn't have a problem with the weapon durability system. The combat felt shallow, in the end game I would use stasis on a lot of enemies, combat felt too easy. I do wish there was greater boss variety and more elaborate dungeons.

Thanos acquires the fully powered Infinity Gauntlet in The Avengers: Infinity War, but loses when all the superheroes team up together to stop him.

Yeah, I was really hoping we'd get to see blue boar Ganon in a 3D game for the first time. His LttP fight was awesome - teleporting, trident wielding badassery. I think he could turn into a bat too?

Beat Ganon. Had a blast playing the game and want to complete the memories.

This is tangentially related but I'm not sure where else to ask, and hopefully this doesn't open up a big can of worms but it's literally been bothering me on and off for years.

What's the deal with the Temple of Time in Skyward Sword? I know the Sealing Grounds is supposed to have become the Temple of Time in Ocarina of Time, but does anything happen to the first Temple of Time or is it literally just a throwaway name hitched to the dungeon?

I mean... Did we really need that confirmed? Zelda x Link isn't really supposed to be a secret pairing.

It's still nice to get confirmation even though it's obviously canon.

Also I just like this scene, haven't seen it before, and wanted to post it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I really enjoy the desert region, and it also includes my favorite dungeon. After getting and upgrading the Desert Voe armor to 2*, I explored the region a bit for some shrines, including this pretty cool area.

I had encountered and beaten Molduga twice now. The second phase of the battle theme is really awesome.

The Yiga Clan are a really cool idea. The random fights I've encountered aren't hard but the first few times would catch me by complete surprise. And little details like them being followers of Ganon and former Sheikah as well as there love of bananas for some reason made them a great addition.

Also all the Champions were a real treat for me and made voice acting worth it just for those cutscenes for me.

Just finished the game, I loved it, I already called it best zelda after 50+ hours and 100 shrines, now with 80+ hours and all shrines and memories, I can say this was worth it all the while.

Best Zelda ever.

Also I'm feeling the "true ending" is a teaser for the DLC story that is coming with the season pass. I really hope we can also get controllable Zelda and doing stuff with the tablet.

And I hope we somehow get a sequel of this story. There are still stories to tell in here.

Bummed I missed the last memory. Spent time getting them all, but Hyrule Castle was so intense I completely forgot about it. Then Zelda reminds you in the final battle "though you don't have all your memories blah blah". Felt like a lot of time down the drain. Yeah, I watched it on Youtube, but it just feels like I didn't complete my game.

I just finished.

What a rad video game. Pretty disappointed by Ganon overall, I know dude was just this motherfucking elemental force of nature this time around and jesus, the amalgamated Guardian-tech cyberzombie Ganondorf was pretty fucking rad, but when I realised the giant boar form Ganon wasn't shit I was pretty disappointed. Also, that a game this majestic and amazing had a last boss where Zelda literally told me to shoot the glowing weak points was pretty annoying.

I can't say much I liked about the story overall as a whole even though I really loved aspects of it - Urbosa and her descendant the current Gerudo Chieften, the '100 years ago' nature of unlocking memories, Zelda's kind of rejection of destiny and prophecy, Bara Shark... but, like, it's the kind of thing where me telling you about the story is way more interesting than actually watching/experiencing it. Zelda herself as a character is really rad and it's irritating that it's so hamstrung by the voice acting.

Even though they explain it if you find the one book in Zelda's room, I feel like this game really lost something by Link being a mute psycho.

Yeah the whole battle was somewhat of a letdown for me. He was easier than the rest of the game would have led me to believe. His attacks were pretty straightforward and easily dodged.

The white and silver Lynel were harder. I can't even beat the silver one even using stasis.

Haha I would have liked to see more of the Yiga clan. After beating Kohga, I thought "nah he's not dead, we'll see him again, right?", but nothing else happened. Maybe in the DLC, who knows?

I like the Champions a lot, and the fact that they are all dead made me sad. Revali is my favorite, I thought he was hilarious being an asshole to Link lol

I wish I got to hang out more with the descendants.

They should've had a ride to victory moment too, help you storm the castle or some shit. Shield surfing after the camel beast was sick, as was sharking your way onto the elephant

Finished it the other day. Man, this game has been fantastic and mindblowing for me, but everything after you reach the Sanctum really shits on the rest of the game.

On the upside, I still have ~70 shrines to go, and I'm still really enjoying the exploration and shrine/seed hunting. Bugger the story, this part is the game for me.

I've been trying to figure out the timeline, but I can't fit in when New Donk City is established and whether or not the events of Splatoon take place in the Child or Adult timeline.

Makes me think about the moment when I fought Ruta (first divine beast I met) with Sidon. I thought that he would be Mipha's replacement to pilot the divine beast since she's dead, until it was revealed that her soul was actually imprisoned.
I read someone saying that maybe in the DLC, Sidon, Riju, Teba and Yunobo will be another generation of Champions, I like the idea.

That sounds like a great idea!

More fleshing out of these characters would be nice, because I quite liked what they already got despite it feeling so brief compared to what you get from something like an FF party.
