if I get a Switch from USA or another country with Nintendo Canada still honor warranty and provide repairs/service? Or the hassle is not worth it and I should only buy from a local retailer? I wish we had SquareTrade in Canada, I can't find an equivalent

on the flip side all those people hoping for a bundle/price drop by Christmas are unlikely to get their wish. I do think Nintendo should offer a 1-2 Switch bundle if they want to turn this into a Wii type phenomenom

No, but my parents do. I actually live in Ontario now after moving away for University. I had a co-op term at a small place back home and we had the day off though!

I know I'm kinda late with this request, but if anyone who still has a cheap Mass Effect pre-order they are thinking about cancelling let me know as I'd like to take it off your hands. I've gotten some last minute interest in the title and would like to play it with a friend.

So if you are going to cancel anyways let me know and we can work something out.

I ordered an extra Take Your Heart edition from EBGames just because I was scared Amazon would do this shit.

Really strange. I see three people saying they received something but the rest are unaffected. I know Amazon cancels in waves but that seems odd. Also, the Amazon CSRs explanation doesn't make sense at all... as usual.

Update on this, after complaining to Amazon(and initially getting rejected for a refund of the fee) they finally refunded me the EHF.

Always check to make sure that they're not pointlessly adding the EHF to a product that should not be eligible for it. Best Buy has done this in the past as well with some orders.

Now that there's a standard edition for P5 I'm bailing into it. Don't want to take any chances if the issue is as bad as "hazardous materials" is making it out to be.

I wonder what kind of bump the power bank market is getting from the Switch. It's definitely in my short-ish term plans to get one, but I'm still waiting to see where prices go for USB-C stuff (because I don't feel like I need a massive battery, and I think most lean towards the "big battery" end of the spectrum — I feel like I could get by with a 10,000mAh-ish battery... one recharge or one recharge plus change is probably enough for a day).

This! I had the original rust 3 (2004) and because of the softer metals and the way they sealed it, it held water in all of the wrong places. It's since been fixed, and you will not have any issues with rust.

I still haven't been charged by amazon and it says shipping today. I swear to god if I get mass effect a week late like I did with Nier I'ma lose my shit.

Amazon seems to be pretty unreliable these days. A friend of mine activated Prime to pre-order a Switch and he received it 5 days after launch and now this.

I pre-ordered P5: TTHE twice on EBGames. One is because my browser crashed but the order still passed.

So, if anyone from Montreal (and/or north shore) is interested, I could sell my extra copy for cost +20$

Omg cancellation is a thing? I was probably one of the very last people to order, once I pre-ordered it it went off-line out of stock a couple days later.

If you buy a product that has the EHF added to it and you're unsure f if you should be paying it or not, check the OES consumer brochure to make sure that the fee is actually applicable. Still can't believe that Amazon tried to pull this shit.
