God the fucking morons are ruining twitch chats with shit about the former employee or when people ask the streamer should they buy this game and the streamer says they're enjoying it, these guys go on endless rants about the cinematics.

Anyone in here playing it on PS4? Is it possible to unlock PS4 digital early like PC VPN? Dangit. Another reason I miss PC already. I feel like I'm going to end up buying this game again on PC when it drops in price. I want to see all the purty landscapes maxed out.

Don't think VPN on PS4 or XB1 work because release is tied to the store you purchased it in

Just got a 2GB update (1.04) on PS4. Haven't downloaded it yet, so I can't post the notes.

Isn't the 2GB patch the one that Access players and reviewers already received?

I hope the new (smaller) patches resolve some of the UI design issues. I'd like a reason to un-cancel my preorder. ;)

If not, perhaps the Apex app will work with the Access trial, so at least I can stockpile resources for when the game is discounted.

Made a thread about this, but I thought I share this here as well.

PSA: How to save during Priority Missions:

When doing a priority mission, switch to your active quest objective, save, and then switch back.

so.........normal twitch chat lol

The vocal minority who are never going to buy it anyways.

Its like gaffers saying, welp I was going to buy it but now I'm not.....when 95% of the time they had no intention of fucking buying it in the first place

Did anyone find some means of storage in the trial? I remember finding the Indra sniper rifle in some container on the Nexus and I didn't want to haul it around since I had no intention of using sniper rifles just yet, but I haven't seen any way of storing items.

Considering they've brought back the inventory mechanic of ME1, I'd have thought it would be essential to have a means to store stuff. I'm kind of sentimental about my Initiate armor that I wanna store and keep for the memories. You know, looking back later in the game and see how far you've come...

Would hate to have to get rid of this stuff.

I had the same question but no one responded. My guess is no. However it seems stuff like minerals and junk either don't take up inventory space or stack so that you don't run out of room. With that said it's at least nice that we can buy and sell stuff on the Tempest.

I only now that you can increase inventory space via Nexus points. No idea if there is a storage or a bank or something

I'm trying to space out my trial hours so that when my copy comes on Tuesday there's no wait.

Only an hour or two in and plenty of people who have no intention of buying or playing the game shitposting people for liking the trial. I can see this is going to be a riveting week.

I'm a huge new Vanguard fan, but Vanguards in ME1 sucked so my first class there was actually Infiltrator.

Will continue that trend in Andromeda with a CC Infiltrator build to start. Cloak, Overload, Snapfreeze/Flamer sounds like a good combo. We'll see. Almost time.

Never used the VPN activation method but I think I'll go for it this time. Trial was rough around the edges but I still can't wait.

Looks like the patch that came out today fixed the MP sound issues, among a bunch of other things that Ian from BioWare wasn't able to confirm. But it's awesome that the MP sound was fixed already -- I was expecting 1-2 weeks from now.

Is that from his twitter?

Great news anyway !

Wait wait wait. I just peeked into the animations thread (god knows why) and there are people bashing the scene between Sara and Suvi? Please tell me they are trolling. I refuse to believe people are that dense and don't realize it is supposed to be awkward. I thought it was wonderful and actually caused me to laugh.

As someone who romances Tali every time and therefore has a "Loves Awkward BioWare Romance" badge on his chest, I feel like some of that dialogue is weird. The
KMN line is awesome and makes the whole scene but Suvi's "OH MY GOODNESS RYDER" has really questionable line delivery.

that's just my opinion though, no need to go spreadin it around.

I think most people get that it's supposed to be awkward.

It's not really the intent people have a problem with - it's the fact there's a big difference between a natural-feeling awkward conversation and one where the writers are clumsy and try to hammer you over the head with how awkward conversation/situation is, and that's what the Suvi/Sara conversation felt like for me. Or, put another way, it felt like the writers were trying too hard to make it cutesy-awkward and just made it irritating.

I get why people could like it, but it didn't work for me.

The writing and delivery of that scene worked pretty much perfectly and made me hope I could awkward flirt my way through the entire game.

What's nice is that there's obviously a second option in the flirt menu to approach flirting in a way that you might prefer.
