I wish that all these people that seemingly want a new Vampire would just go on fightcade and play Savior, it's a good game!

Is Vampire Savior or Vampire Savior 2 the one everyone plays? Its hard to remember what everyone hits as the definitive title to keep playing. Vampire Savior is Darkstalkers3 so if the Vampire Hunter 2/Vampire Savior 2 changes upset fans in spite of new cast I could see DS3/VS1 being the definitive. Especially since some cast were REMOVED for Vampire Hunter 2/Vampire Savior 2. Plus since the console versions of those titles had the rest of the cast like Phobos/Huitzil, Donovon, Pyron and the hidden folks like shadow/marionette it'd make sense if console DS3/VS1 was the definitive. Only thing it'd be missing is I think playable Oboro Bishamon.

Found another interesting JoJo vid:

Shigechi VS Annasui

Shigechi: Uses a colony of tiny stands called 'Harvest' which swarm the opponent. His game plan requires him to 'restock' his colony in order to keep his moves powered up. When the swarm is at its maximum, Shigechi gets access to many nasty frametraps and blockstrings. Not to mention combos. You'll see him try to sneak in 'restock' commands during blockstrings to maintain full power. Many thought he was weak, but a bunch of his moves hit OTG, which increases his damage output significantly.

Annasui: Seems like a very basic character when you first pick him up, but all his moves can be used in different combinations to create frametraps, ambiguous cross-ups, and tick throws. Vary up the timing and he has a big arsenal of nasty tricks. This isn't even factoring his command throws which can transition into full combos.

VS1, the arcade version that was (imperfectly?)ported to the ps3/360, is the definitive game. I don't think an actual arcade perfect port exists, especially the ones that messed with the roster.

No, no. It's nothing like that. I just didn't find any videos I liked for a little while. If I'm going to post it here it should be a vid where some cool or new things happen to drum up discussion.

You are the last person to accuse anybody else of farming for hits.
I enjoy the blow ups. Also i have nothing against Tripon posting topical threads people actually care enough to post in.

The countless fgc threads he used to post were by and large ignored, and that's very demoralizing.

i feel terrible for that cruise staff. trapped on a boat with disgusting, unwashed gamer masses and almost certainly not receiving a single tip from those neckbeared dopes.

They have a Smash tournament, God help them.

It's neat, but that trailer looked like it was made 15-20 years ago.

TVC looks better than MVC3.

I'm a TVC fan and then some but I can't agree with this. It looks flashy and pretty and colorful and the character designs are all nice and full of personality plus the special effects on supers are great.

Thing is even with Dolphin pushing hard to help the thing its models are really dated and jaggy. Use viewtiful Joe and Ryu models vs their MVC3 vanilla or UMVC3 counterparts. No comparison...Marvel did the models and lighting better.

Still prefer TVC to MVC3 by a mile, but credit where its due. Marvel looks great.

-=burps=- No way. MVC3 benefits from being a newer game and bigger budget but I prefer the art direction in TVC. I think Ryu looks better in TVC by far. And yes the game looks way better running on Dolphin.

I feel the same way with MVC2. I think the older games looked way better. The sterile bland backgrounds of MVC2 pales in comparison to the older games.
