That was an awesome teaser, holy shit

Thought for sure it'd be a moving title card or something lol

Doesn't show anything about the game but gets you excited.

The game is all about replaying missions, would be awesome if the general tone of storytelling embraces "hey, it's fun to go shoot things"

That teaser has more character and personality than the entirety of the first game. That in itself is making me more excited for Destiny 2 than I thought I would be.

I dunno what TTK or Rise of Iron was like, but...for Vanilla Destiny? This. If D2 can manage this level of character for the whole game, even feeling burned they have me for the next game.

So... They are immediately starting the reveal with campy cliche humor and robots drinking liquids while praising ramen shops.

GG Bungie. Really setting my expectations low for a story and world I'll care about.

Eh, even post-TTK Cayde was the only actual personality that wasn't super serious and boring. At least in this teaser it seems like they understand that.

I stopped playing after vanilla destiny but this looks like a good shift in tone. Look forward to seeing more.

So... this is first time you had contact with Cayde-6?

Let's be honest, nobody cares about the world of Destiny, we only care about the guns.

Do you play Destiny? that's Cayde-6. He was cracking jokes during Oryx assault.

That's his character.

It's not the first time destiny uses light hearted trailers.

Well that Teaser has more character than any of the character of Destiny 1 (yes I know it's a returning side character).

It will be interesting to see if they keep the serious side of Destiny of if they make it feel slightly more casual/comedic and have the serious story telling done by lore books, grimoire cards etc.

I like the teaser but yeah I'm beginning to feel a fatigue setting in for sci-fi stories taking the Guardians of the Galaxy humour route. Maybe that's just because the new Mass Effect badly missed the mark.
