People don't like sc2? That climax with "I need a hero" playing while Johnny 5 is on his way to fuck some people up is iconic. I'm sure those Melissa McCarthy commercials used it as inspirado.

Let's just say that the name Johnny 5 is one that is lost to time.

Depends on who you're talking to but in terms of general perception

Batman Forever
X-Men: The Last Stand
Hitman
Shoot Em Up
D.O.A.
Super Mario Bros. The Movie

yessssss

I really really love this movie. Bad special effects and all.

It has my favorite on-screen depiction of Frankenstein's monster too.

Pain and Gain.

Bay made an accessible black comedy that gets better on every watch. I really wish he would make more films like that one.

Not a big Kevin Smith fan, but I love "Zack and Miri Make a Porno". I think it's his best movie and seen it countless times.

As Sartre noted in his contemplation on Hell in No Exit, the true horror is other members.
I saw Spectre the other day and I didn't really see what everyone's problem was, apart from that one valve Bond shot that blew up the entire evil baddie base.

BvS is the best comic book movie.

I'll stand with you on this one. Actually no, Road to Perdition was better, but I liked BvS a bunch.

Only God Forgives is in my top 3.
as an enormous fan of drive i was fairly disappointed with only god forgives. i didn't hate it like a lot of people do but i didn't really care much for my first time round. but the weird thing is despite my apathy it's still something that i regularly feel compelled to rewatch. i think there's a lot to that film that rewards going back to it, even as someone who wasn't a huge fan. i had a friend in first year of uni who swore by this film.

oh, and that reminds me - refn's neon demon is a good shout for this thread. people really hate that film for some reason but i liked the hell out of it. certainly more superficially enjoyable than only god forgives.

I'll watch this over TDK any day. LET'S KICK SOME ICE!

This movie would have been better received if it had been marketed as a campy reboot, rather than a continuation of the franchise that started with Batman '89.

Nobody dings Lego Batman for not being Nolan Batman.

Man of Steel
Avatar
Chronicles of Riddick
Dark Knight Rises
Prometheus
Matrix Reloaded
Revenge of the Sith
The entire Resident Evil Franchise
Transformers 3 & 4

Jurassic World
Dark Knight Rises

don't hurt me

The Star Wars Prequels.

I know deep down they're objectively garbage but I can still manage to wring some enjoyment out of the entire bunch.

Also Tron Legacy
.

Biodome.

I fucking LOVE this movie.

Batman vs Superman
Suicide Squad
Jurassic World

Armageddon
these

30 Minutes or Less

The plot is dumb and full of holes but I still find the dialogue to be absolutely hilarious.

Interstellar, though apparently the haters are just a very vocal minority considering its high IMDB rating and the audience score in Rotten Tomatoes.

BvS.

World War Z

Transformers. Kinda funny the people that bash this movie are the same people that line up to watch Fast and Furious day 1 lol

I remember watching "The Master of Disguise" and "Kung Pow" and thinking they were both pretty funny... But on rotten tomatoes they got 1% and 11% respectively

Battleship is cool as hell. And it had Thunderstruck playing while they set up a museum to be a fighting machine again. It has the museum doing a Toyko drift before blasting the fuck out of aliens and it had Liam Neeson.
.

Yes, I liked this too. It's like a good Transformer film.

World War Z, the last part is a bit rubbish but the rest is filmed pretty well and his escape up the tower block was pretty great for a zombie film. A lot of scenes look great. I want another film.

Along Came Polly, I dislike Ben Stiller immensely but I can't help but laugh at many scenes in this especially Alec Baldwin etc.

Bad Boys 2 (or really Michael Bay's films in general)

Lucy (Luc Besson)

Lifeforce (Tobe Hooper's space vampire film)

Popeye (Robert Altman's live action musical adaptation with Robin Williams)

Get Carter remake
Star Wars prequels
Rob Zombie's Halloween(director's cut)
Friday the 13th part V
Rocky V

Those come to mind first.

People seemed to react pretty badly to Tideland come to think of it but I really liked it.

Livingskeletons

If I pulled that off, would you die?
Lost World Jurassic Park.

I saw it before the original so my nostalgia is heavily tied to it.

It's a dumb movie but it still has some classic Spielberg moments.
