Capcom Unity is also down almost immediately after the blog post goes up -_-
They must be using CFN

The Alex costume is by far the best of the three. The Mika costume is alright; dunno why they bother to obscure above her cleavage though. They are showing the cleavage after all.

And the Chun-Li costume.... Ugghhhhhh, Kolin already has that look and also its another Chun-Li costume. If this is the remaining content for April its a bummer.

Edit: Oh and online randoms will definitely select Mika with the pom-poms on.

They stole my idea for Alex costumes, lol. They look cool. I did that want more like mechanic, plumber, cable guy, Ask This Old House kinda stuff (and not always showing the damn chest). They do look kinda stripper-ish, haha.

Well I was enjoying being able to avoid constant Chun-Li complaints since the nerfs, but those days appear to be over. Now she sucks AND people complain.

Ugh at the cheerleader R. Mika outfit. I wanted business casual for her and instead they give it to Chun-Li. I'm sick of the shitty R. Mika outfits, it's like we get that she has a bubbly personality but let's not make all of her costumes be incredibly lame and generic.

Rashid is supposed to be this game main character (at least according to the story) and he had 0 costumes what's wrong with you capcpom :(.

Every costume so far (besides those weird promotional Red Bull ones) fits the characters' personalities and backstories. A cheerleading costume makes a lot more sense for Mika than business casual.

Eh I just kind of hate how they are just playing into her character way too much and in ways that are generic and predictable. Give Mika some class instead of a costume that looks like it was literally designed for trolling. Plus this costume is basically just a variation off of her peacock one in terms of blatant flashiness. So far there hasn't been a costume she's had that I've truly liked.

I hate that people base tiers off results. If not for Punk, Fuudo people would be saying Karin and Mika are trash bottom tier..
people are always somewhat off though, I think Mika is a bit too high, but Karin is solid, always has been.

That's a generally good tier-list (again, I don't know about Kolin) there's always a bigger debate after top tier and right underneath is done. They got the top half of the cast right, and really, that's all that matters lol.

And people who don't play Ken and just looking at Ryu who got it worse, can you please play a good 100-150 matches with him please? He's not fine. I swear it. lol Here's another fellow Ken player on his S2.5 changes. We're not pros guys, but we have studied the game. Still will enjoy the game, but I know if I want to keep climbing and maybe hit master rank or something like that, I'd just be making the journey super hard sticking solely with Ken, there's characters that does what he does way more efficiently. At least I got a whole year with a great Ken though, I really feel bad for Alex and Fang mains now '-( Sorry guys...

S2.5 patch reverts important stuff that made Ryu bad, but nerfs Ken further. But it's not just numbers, it's about design and mus. Ken will easily be the worst shoto in 2.5.

In season 1 Ken had a good defense, high damage output and an excellent punish game, but he was still loosing to a lot of chars on the ground. Capcom wanted a strong Ken, so they gave him broken tools in the air to compensate. His air tatsu was simply retarded, but it was the only way to fight against Chuns, Guiles and the like.

In Season 2, Capcom does not want a viable Ken, there is no other reasonable explanation for their changes. They methodically and intentionally made each and every aspect of his game weaker.

Ground game? They nerfed every one of his useful buttons, like b. mp, cr mp, st mk, st hk, st mp and cr hk. Ken is now worse at punishing, easier to low profile and even easier to punish with some of the most ridiculously slow buttons in the game... His defense was also hurt a lot by the b. mp and srk nerfs. Talking about the srk nerfs, i get that they did not want invincible moves for no meter, but then why leave the CC properties on hp srk intact, thus allowing for 300-500 damage punishment for dropped combos and why mess with srk as an antiair?

To top it all off, they also nerfed his air game to the ground. The air tatsu had to be fixed, the risk reward was just stupid. But the air ex tatsu nerf is just mean. The move's hurtbox was already easy to hit in season 1 if you had good reactions but now you can just hit a random key at a random timing and it will stuff it clean. But since they wanted to make it completely useless, they also made it -2 on block. I mean wtf, it costs meter, it's dead easy to stuff and it leaves you at -2 right next to your opponent when blocked.

The only useful thing he got to balance out all those nerfs they are now taking away, in the same patch they decided to buff Cammy and leave Boxer as is.

As a non pro i don't mind the nerfs all that much to be honest, but if i was Momochi i would be furious. Ken is not an easy character to master, those 1 hit confirms alone require countless hours of grinding. Pros don't play for fun, their income depends on their performances. When a pro sacrifices the time to learn a complex character he is making an investment. So when Capcom actively sabotages said investment, it's not pretty.

Mentioned this in the costume thread, but I thought I'd bring it up here. Only counting the premium costumes (the ones that require real money), just 7 characters (out of the 24) have over half of the DLC costumes: Chun, Cammy, Juri, Mika, Karin, Laura and Ryu. You can substitute Laura or Karin for Necalli and remain over 50%.

If we only talk about costumes that came out in costume packs (i.e. not counting the one premium costume every character launches with), then Chun, Cammy, Juri, Mika and Ryu have 56.7% of the post-"day-one" costumes.

It's pretty obvious what criteria a character needs to meet in order to get costumes on a consistent basis.

Yeah, the only female to get the short end of the stick was Ibuki, who has only 2 premium costumes. So it's not just female but big boobs, specifically.

Kolin has the same number of premium costumes, and she just got released.

The system is rigged so that the 1% can accrue more costume wealth than the remaining 99%. #OccupyStreetFighter

Honestly though, it's kinda weird because outside of Ryu, Cammy and I guess maybe Laura now, the characters who've been hogging all the costumes aren't even among the most popular in usage. I can't intuit what selection process they use (beyond just giving costumes to the characters they like most, I guess) when deciding who gets what costume. I dunno if they come up with a costume idea first and then pick a character for whom it fits, or if it's the other way around, or what.

Lol, I think I'll pass on stripper fireman Alex.

Dude, its a natural advantage you're giving up. You can arouse your opponents enough to distract them.

Also, I still hold true to my previous stance that Dictator is a better Necalli then Necalli. Fight me, fam. :p

They're all waifus and Ryu. Whatever they think will sell most.
