Games you want remade, but never will

Clive Barker's Undying from 2001 is one of my all time favorite games. The gfx doesn't hold up and I would love a remake. Unfortunatly nobody remembers this game and a remake will never happen. I loved the atmosphere, setting, story, characters and the gameplay was enjoyable. I would pay top $ for a remake.

Do you have games you would like to be remade, but never will?

Not a remake but have a lot of those 100 achievements in Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Crystal Bearers be tied to NPC quests (actually have more than one NPC in the entire world talk as well) and you have a game a lot more people would love.

Will hold out hope for a Mass Effect Trilogy remaster forever.

For full-on remake, probably FF6. FF7 gets all the love, but I dream of the opera scene in FF6 with full remake orchestral bombast.

A proper re-make of FF VI akin to the DS III and IV remakes, not the horrible iOS style remake that completely ruined the aesthetics of the game.

Radiata Stories.

The schedules and character recruitment/city was really cool to small me. I think there's a pretty good structure there for another game/a similar game.

Mercenaries. The faction thing was so cool and the deck of 52 was a great way of forward thinking about open world games way before forward thinking about open world games was a cool thing to do.

Persona 1 and the Persona 2 duology. Persona 1 has some really neat themes and ideas and really gets bogged down by some of the typical PS1-era RPG clunkiness. Persona 2 Innocent Sin and Eternal Punishment both tell a phenomenal story, but suffer sometimes from unintuitiveness, insane levels of random encounters, and in the case of Innocent Sin, incredibly tedious battles because you can basically one shot everything. They have annoying dungeon design at times too (also goes for P1).

Heart of Darkness (remaster only)

Contra : The Alien Wars ( nothing changed just more levels and same type of kick ass music ) last portion felt EPIC ala Predator movie chills. If i'd win the lottery i would personaly fund this prject so someone could do this. :)

Jak trilogy.

They could make use of physics puzzles/weapons/tools and a bigger world. Nicer graphics and gameplay improvements.

(basically "BotW"ify the game)

Midway went under. Midway Chicago turned into NetherRealm and now has only been focused on fighters. At last check the project lead, Brian Eddy, was working on mobile games. I don't even know if the IP transitioned to Warner Brothers when Midway collapsed.

Such a shame for such an amazing IP with so much promise. I'd love a remake, just to get that IP back in the limelight again. Then we can talk sequel.

Xenogears for certain. I doubt it will ever get a remake, but I think it greatly deserves one. As amazing as the game is (still my all time favorite), it was unfinished, so could really benefit from a full remake.

Xenogears. A fully fleshed out Xenogears with a real time action combat system and a complete disc 2 would be great.
