Green Arrow is from a whole nother universe that wouldn't even know about the Injustice universe if not for Black Canary/Dr. FATE. It's not like Joker's situation, there's no reason to go to another universe to get him.

Some people don't know about the leaked roster, namely casuals, so as a casual player you know everyone that died and none are back except an alt universe green arrow. No Lex is especially worrisome when looking at the roster.

Yes we do, my brother who's a Batman fan and casual injustice player (just story mode for him) doesn't. He said to me the other day "Joker not being in sucks but Scarecrow is cool", I'm not trying to ruin his surprise.

If NRS can contrive a reason to bring in a different Green Arrow from a different Earth (who has to be in this game because of his TV show) then I'm sure they can come up with a reason for Joker's inclusion.

I still think Joker will be used for flashback purposes. I don't see him actively being in the story during the modern day parts.

To be fair, Tom Taylor kinda left NRS with a back-door for bringing Green Arrow back years ago.

That said, I feel like Joker's either gonna be non-canon or for flashbacks, only.

Me too, I just don't see why a character's death should keep them out of a fighting game. I think the roster means more to people in the long run than the story.

Disregarding the leak list, it's because he's the Joker haha. Even if there wasn't a leaked list I would still expect his inclusion, given his notoriety. I figure either flashback or alt Earth Joker will appear (the former more likely). Plus Scarecrow died early on in the comics but he's here, too.*

* Yeah I know he came back in the comics by mistake lol.

With regards to Multiverse mode and the exclusive gear we can earn, it'd be great if we could fight alternate versions of characters (from other realities/Earths) and win their gear.

Shocking!

I'm still curious what the Guild thing is? Something like Rock Band crews with actual team-ups among friends for points or just the Faction Wars thing again? I'm hoping the former, but there doesn't seem to be any other achievements about it.

I wonder what the Joker will look like in this game...

I wished WB would let J. Zeller model more of their characters. She's an amazing artist. Even the typically "ugly" characters look handsome the way she models them. Her Joker for AK Origins:

The achievements don't mention Star Labs, so I guess it's not coming back and has been replaced by Multiverse Mode; an amalgamation of MKX's towers and Injustice's Star Labs.

So far, with regards to game modes, we have:

Story
Battle Simulator (Arcade?)
Multiverse (Star Labs)
Online

I'm looking forward to more clarification after the FB stream.

I'm going to be racking my brain trying to think of one now haha. Injustice GAF is too... Simple. That I know :(.

Oh and as far as game modes go, I'm kind of bummed that Star Labs isn't coming back. I had fun doing all those random missions :(.

Multiverse has objectives at least, also a *star system from what I can see from the few screen captures I can find online.

Edit: Whoops! I meant "star," not "stat".

That's true, and if it's anything like living towers then I guess it can be looked at as like a "Living STAR Labs" haha. I just want some fun objectives, not just "beat this guy while stuff is flying over you".
