I can't believe Britt McHenry or whatever her name is is going to make it through the purge, she should have been fired years ago.
I am sad about Kannel getting the boot. I loved how he trolled the SEC and thought he was a good foil to Russillo who has the only sportsy show that doesn't suck ass.

The solution is pretty simple. Get rid of MNF. Asking the NFL to schedule better games for that slot won't solve for the fact that they're competing with local networks. It's just too much money for the product they get.
They need to get rid of it and double down on CFB, NBA, and other emerging sports (soccer, e-sports, etc.)

Britt is untouchable. There was rumblings around they didnt even want to suspend her for the week or so they did when the video of her being a prick came out because she's one of the girl-toys of a high up exec. I thought it was hogwash at first, but it really does look like she is teflon.

They moved it from ABC to ESPN because ESPN was much more able to absorb the losses that the Monday Night Football contract was costing ABC. By the end of their last broadcast deal, ABC was losing $150m a year on Monday Night Football, and the first MNF on ESPN contract cost double the previous ABC contract for what had become the shittiest slate of NFL games on offer (trumped only when Thursday started).
Zero chance of ABC getting back into the MNF market.
They don't even try to hide it honestly. She actually benefitted from the bad press.
ESPN is full of shit. Shame on anybody for still watching it.

I heard Golick Jr has been on a lot of stuff as there are looking for a replacement for Mike Greenberg, since he is leaving Mike & Mike.
Suposedly MG is now ESPN biggest star, highest paid anchor and is creating a Good Morning America style morning show to replace sports center on ESPN.

Some shocking cuts today. some the network will be better without like Danny Kenell. but some will hurt like Ed Werder. Hope Ed gets a job soon at NFLn or somewhere.
Not a big fan of Dilfer but did not see that coming. Thought Tim Hasselback would go way before him.
Some of the SC anchors were strange moves like Jaymee or Jade when Dianna Russini cant do a segment without fucking something up in the script. Did they finally fire Mark May?
And they will keep SC6 for what? its the worst show they have done in a long time. the 6PM SC was fine with Lindsay before she went on maternity leave but now unwatchable.
And ESPN are throwing how much money into Greeny's new morning show or the show they are trying to make for Bomani Jones.
Oh wow i just saw ESPN had Ed placed at the Saints facility for the draft in the release they did last week.

I've seen it too on Twitter and multiple message boards. Seems like a huge right-wing talking point that followed after Caitlyn Jenner, Colin Kaapernick, and Michael Sams received a large amount of attention on ESPN.
Somehow their coverage of Kaepernick, the fact that they had LeBron, Wade, Melo, and CP3 speak at the ESPYs about police violence, and because Caitlyn Jenner was given an award for courage at ESPYs, these ppl think ESPN is left wing.
Oh and also cause they fired Curt Schilling.
Now these same idiots, ignoring all the real reasons why ESPN is making these cuts, are patting each other on the back because supposedly these layoff are a result of people being sick of the left wing agenda.

Bomani Jones mentioned the layoffs several times on his show as well today.
I'm surprised that that he is still around. Either he doesn't want to be bought out or doesn't make enough dough to be worth cutting (which I 100% doubt since he has been with ESPN since the start)
