Game soundtracks on vinyl | Analogue Gen 33fps

Is anyone with ship to shore reading this thread?

I just got my Darius in but there was a mistake made. I bought one of the Red Vinyls but received someone elses order that bought both the red and blue.

I think the shipping labels must have been mixed up they are getting shorted one vinyl. The shilling invoice even has someone elses name and address.

Rarely, i got a hold of them fastest via a Facebook message.

For those wondering, it looks like SpaceLab9 will be the ones releasing the Dark Souls soundtracks, along with Skyrim and Witcher 3.

Praise the Sun! I'm actually way more excited for Witcher 3 though.

Also I picked up the Watch Dogs 2 vinyl set on Discogs for $15+shipping so I'm pretty happy.

Anybody from UK get lumped with a £12 customs charge with their Silent Hill Mondo order? I really find it's quite random whether you get charged or not, and how much it ends up coming to.

I've never received a customs/duty tax when ordering from Mondo to Canada, however they use DHL when shipping to Canada, and I always have a "DHL Handling Fee" to pay.

Well, it depends whether your package's information is inspected by the customs. According to gov.uk You pay VAT on goods sent from non-European Union (EU) countries and EU special territories (eg the Canary Islands) if they're: other goods worth more than £15.

We used to be able to import stuff worth <42€ to Finland, but they changed it to <20€ several years ago. Haven't really imported much from outside EU since.

And now, I wait for my DQ 1, 2 and 3 LP's to arrive from Japan.

I may or may not have felt compelled to run it by my wife so as to obtain mutual approval, because it was a wallet puncher, but it will be worth it.

I fucking LOVE the old DQ NES tunes.

Hopefully Bethesda releases DooM on vinyl. I neeeeeed it!

While not vinyl, if you're a member of Amazon Prime, you can get the Mick Gordon Doom 2016 soundtrack. Rip and Tear alone makes for an interesting commute.

Just got 1 & 2 (already had 3) from Japan a few days ago. I love how many of the Japanese 80s releases that had sheet music included with them. Such a nice touch.

I think these could be a slippery slope for me. There are LOTS of NES whose tracks I listen to on NoisES, and I can see myself going for any original pressings of records that may or may not exist from back then.

other genres haven't yet graduated to extreme value

I just received my HBO Westworld 3xLP soundtrack from Barnes and Noble... $35 USD, free shipping in the US. I'd call that pretty extreme value
in the non-sarcastic way
I assure you it is impossible to sell new records including digital copies at those rates and make a profit. They must be losing like, fifty bucks on that product.

Great soundtrack by the way, I'm waiting to purchase it myself lol
in like new condition for 15$ cheaper several months from now.

Man that's so awesome. That could have totally been like a really overpriced Mondo release too.

Hah darn no Shenmue. It's the only one I didn't grab, and now the completionist in me is like "Whyyyyyyy"

I *think the record store down the street from me had a copy of Shenmue. Pretty sure I saw one there. I have no recollection of the price, but they don't typically mark stuff up like flippers do. If you're interested I can try to swing by this weekend and check for ya.

There's definitely a record store in my area that still has a copy of Shenmue... or, at least they still did on last Saturday. I highly doubt they sold it. No way it's the LE, though. It's more than likely a black copy.

It's in NW Houston... if someone wants the store name, let me know.

Alright, I'll try to swing by at my next passing. I was last there two weeks ago, and it's a pretty small shop, so hopefully it's still secretly tucked in the stacks. I'll PM ya either way.

Well, if RaidenZR can't hook you up, I can go to the store I'm talking about and grab it. It's just not a part of town I normally go to, is all. A bit of a drive, but no big deal if it means making someone else happy. :)

Wow I just got the Silent Hill soundtrack and it says it was remastered for vinyl by James Plotkin? Like the Khanate (probably my favourite drone metal band ever) James Plotkin?

Edit: oh well apparently he does that now.
