Then, Chris sits down with Justin Simien to discuss his new Netflix show, Dear White People (20:25).
those poor IMDb snowflakes.
Was Troy always an ex of Sam in the movie or is this added history for the tv show?
Weird question but how accurate was Defamation
I know about Scandal my mom and such love that show, i'm asking how accurate the parody isI never watched the show it's parodying but look up.Scandal
I liked the movie a lot but this is on a completely different level five episodes in. The character focused episode structure is a great choice for the show, it really helps to have all these characters even more fleshed out, in particular CoCo and Reggie. I thought I'd miss Tessa Thompson because she was excellent in the film but Logan Browning is knocking it out of the park. The show just keeps getting better each episode, 5 was fantastic, Barry Jenkins did not disappoint there.

It set after the events of the blackface part and part of the series is the reaction to that partyI assume this picks up some time in the middle of the movie? Haven't watched it yet (my binge watch for Sunday) but noticed someone mentioned the blackface party.
