One thing I would like added to SFV for a QoL thing is music packs from previous SF games. Pref for free but if not, FM.

Capcom is sitting on a goldmine of audio, lots of it would still fit V imho. I watch Max's stuff on YT with custom music and get all green lol.

I have probably discussed this have before but can't remember.

If you are in the US then I heard there is a great sale on NA PSN where you can buy the base game plus season 1 + season 2 DLC characters for $40.

No, I disagree. I think it's refreshing that we have a set of new characters to look forward to rather than the same old faces with a few tweaked gameplay elements. Kolin has been met with high praise and I think Ed will be too so I applaud Capcom for thier innovation in making thier new characters very unique.

You can get all characters by just playing the game but that requires you to do too much Survival. By too much I mean any. Would just buy the 2017 Deluxe edition where you get the game + s1 + s2 if i were you.

I don't even care if they do piss people off lol. Remember 3rd Strike? People hated most of the new cast (one of the reasons why it sold so poorly) but it also ended up having characters that people still love to this day.

Not just OoL, easy fucking money. What would it actually cost them to put their own music back into another game beyond the amount of money you'd spend on paying your coders to have it show up in the menu and have the sound guys tweak it to not sound muffled and match up with the other high bitrate music? The return would likely far outweigh the cost.

I've managed to buy every character as they release with just FM. I bought the game at launch and have played 330 hours of mostly online matches.
I'm not sure how much FM that accounts for, and I certainly haven't exhausted all the single player FM available to me, but I refuse to grind survival mode above normal difficulty.

In your position I would absolutely and without reservation buy the deluxe edition with season 1 and 2 for 40 bucks. That would probably guarantee enough easy fight money to buy the next two seasons as they release.

I dislike that I need a mod just so that I can have no music on the main menu. It's silly that you can make a whole playlist for it, but have to keep at least one track ticked.

I mean...don't most video games have music on the menu that can't be turned off (or customized at all)?

I'd imagine that you'd probably need a mod to do that in a lot of games.

I thought the same thing with the lists people wanted for season 2. There's no way there will not be at least one new character. This season being all newly playable characters was unexpected, but I was expecting at least 2 new guys this season.

I'm really sorry man I'd love to but my ISP has been quite erratic lately.

Turns out that my and a few other ISPs in the country all transfer data through submarine cables operated by one company and that company has been having issues for weeks now. My internet becomes incredibly unstable during peak usage hours, which includes weekend nights. God only knows when they're gonna fix it. The company has such a fucking monopoly that they're not even addressing the issue publicly because it's only noticeable if you try to play anything online. Browsing/downloading and streaming is still fine so most people don't even notice.

There's supposed to be a new submarine cable that's gonna go online in May 2017 named AAE-1 that's supposed to include my country so I just hope that that cable provides enough redundancy for them to focus on fixing this.

Means that the only time I can actually play any game online reliable is during morning hours here smh.

These are just the most immediate examples that come to my mind but by God, people's discussions when it comes to fighting games is freaking horrendous. I try not to go into threads about genres that don't interest me but I just know that any list based thread or any opinion based thread is gonna turn into "shit on the guy who doesn't like Bloodborne or the new Zelda or whatever the golden child is at the time being".

Most games either have matches that are silent anyway (meaning I can turn off music altogether) or don't have me in the main menu while waiting between matches.

I'm not a huge fan of NRS games but I think IJ2 looks cool. I really liked the Joker trailer. I dunno if I will get it because I am already full up on multiplayer games I like to play.

That thread is so damn pointless, all it does is pit two kinds of fanboys against eachother over speculation. Marvel, DC, NRS and Capcom fanboys are all garbage so of course it's a dumpster fire.

My ISP crap today, internet won't last 5 mins before it dies, since morning they having problems sheeeesh....I want to play, I want to give people my lag lol...just last 30mins instead of 5mins and i will spread the lag..

What I think is will be the major theme for the Season pass , IF SFV doesnt die this year.

Sagat will headline a "Classic" Season pass , will include the likes of SF2 chars like Fei,Blanka..etc Maybe even Sakura even though shes not SF2

Cody will headline a Final Fight Season pass with chars like Guy,Poison,Haggar..etc
2019 is 30th Anniversary of Final Fight.

Finally we will get a SF3 Season pass with Dudley,Mak,Q,Oro...etc which will finally tie up the story to SF3 as the last part of the SFV Story.
