At least there are actual rewards for doing them this time! That was the biggest problem with living towers, IMO.

You get gear rewards, shaders, mother boxes, and credits. It tells you what you get when you hover over them. There are multiple multiverse planets open at any given times and are on timers that range from minutes to days.
I did some over the weekend and got gold boxes based off hitting certain points thresholds during the fights and got a platinum box for completing a certain amount of them. This is in addition to random pieces of high level gear and shaders for certain characters.
As far as I know the only things you can unlock how you want are the shaders but they are quite costly so it doesn't make sense to do so. All in all gear drops are RNG.
So if you didn't already know, you get 100 or so gems each time your profile levels up, among other things. Haven't even touched the story and I'm at 3,250 gems. Seems okay if they don't make any changes with day 1 patch. Surprising amount of shaders obtained through bronze boxes so far.

The animation is mostly fine, but I can tell it's not as good as other fighting games.
What I can't stand in NRS games starting with MKX is how the stance for a lot of fighters seems to be the body fully facing the player while their head is twisted 90 degrees. Eron Black was one of the worst offenders of this in MKX and I've seen a few injustice characters look like this as well...Cyborg for example.
Im warming up by playing Injustice 1. I love how theyre keeping alot of the same bnb's from 1 and bringing them to 2. They butchered that going from MK9 to MkX where everyone had new combos.

Regarding the unaccounted for voice actors...
Patrick Seitz - This is the longtime voice actor for Scorpion. I could see NRS wanting to give him a job as Azrael — another masked, fire-themed, blade-wielding assassin.
Matt Yang King - King has a very versatile voice, so he could be playing anybody, but if I had to guess I'd put him down as Rorschach (simply through process of elimination).
David Loefell - There is zero evidence of a ”David Loefell" even existing on the Internet. I think it's a legally mandated pseudonym for a high profile actor whose presence in the credits would spoil a surprise. If I had to guess, I'd say this is Michael Jai White as Spawn. He's not a big enough actor for this role to be beneath him, but his name being in the credits would instantly spoil Spawn's inclusion.
Wooley might be pulling double duty as Darkseid and Black Manta. Manta is usually played by a Black actor with a deep, resonant voice.
Enchantress is likely being played by one of the actresses already in the game, using a voice filter.

People looking for reviews should check the top players in the NRS community YouTube pages. Seems like YouTube/wb have eased up on blocking footage.

Amazon has been struggling with releases this year (for me at least); My Persona 5 order was all fucked up. Its kinda hard to go with them anymore.
It might be due to some mailing company fuckery; I don't think they are super jazzed with Amazon having their own distribution trucks.

Can someone who has the game do a quick post on all the singleplayer modes etc? That would probably be a good thing to have for the thread. Maybe a shot of the main menu as well.

Did the cash shop open yet? I'm starting to worry they haven't shown the source crystal price yet thinking it might be expensive and they don't want people to see it. There is a watchtower at 3 pm today apparently.
