Don't know, but keep in mind you can install multiple copies of those implants to get more charges.

Did you have two smelters to beat? I had two and then suddenly one disappeared so I got worried I wouldn't get a coin. The remaining one gave me the coin luckily, phew.

I defeated those but I died fighting the toxic waste smelter because a enemy spawned through a wall and killed me...
I'm rechecking that area though by recycling.
Yep as in it's just me and I need to practice a bit or yep it has no iframes?

If you want the upgraded version and you failed to get it on the first boss kill, then yes.
Works great for me. I usually dash sideways and haven't had a situation yet where I'd feel that dodge has let me down. In fact, even when I was stuck between the enemy and a box and dodged while he was literally pressed against me I still somehow evaded his swing.

Nothing. I thought the coin would stay since I properly defeated it but I guess you have to overcome any untimely death. This has annoyed me slightly in all honesty but it's time to move on and finish the game.
Hmm I'll keep playing with it a bit then. Thus far it's just been completely unreliable on my end. Might just be that it's just a little tighter than BB's almost hilariously generous iframes and BB left me with some bad habits.

I don't find it offensively bad but I also haven't really been impressed with a whole lot on that front either. Pretty forgettable overall.
Their tech dude that talks about CREO on a bunch of different televisions seems pretty well done.

NPCs have cool stuff. Like talking to the hologram lady after you they go to the Medbay will give new dialogue options.
Audio logs are cool too, nice lore bits
Orange bar in bottom left is your Proficiency meter for the weapon class of the weapon your holding.

Core Power increases with your level, just realized that.
Question regarding areas 3/4
So I was exploring area 3 and found the medicine for the sidequest. So I decided to head back to area 2 to turn it in. While doing so I found a door in area 2 that I could open with my drone. I went in there, it ended up being a sizable area that ended in a boss. I killed the boss and afterwards fell down a hole into what I'm assuming is area 4. I don't see any way to get back to the tram to go back to area 3 at this point, but I'm just curious if I did some shit out of order or what?

Ok, I guess core power is your level right? Cause I just leveled up a couple times and it's still at 18, but now 18/23. Don't know how to get core power consumption up
Edit: ohh.. I got it now. I couldn't put it on because it requires 3 points. I had 18/20 which only gives me 2 spare points, I leveled up 3 times and now I can equip it, leaving me with 2 spare points. Ok cool

He def moves faster without gear on.. but , to me, the increase in speed is not worth being gearless. The difference is not that dynamic in this game compared to other soulsims.

I think the Scarab armor is the best speed/armor value set atm. It seems to offer just sub Goliath defense while maintaining decent speed.
Also some armor require multiple playthroughs to get it seems, oh boy.

Good to know.. I'm at the first boss. I have a mish-mash of armors on right now
Full Scarab set will give you a boost effect to all of your vital boost implants as well iirc which is quite nice too.
So far it seems like the best starting gear at least as it offers high protection and don't impact stamina all that much while increasing healing.
I just heard about something pretty useful-
If you have enough energy to use a drone attack after killing an enemy, hold down your drone attack button for a second. A lightning bolt will appear indicating that you have stored a drone attack. You can then use the drone attack at any time later once without needing or using any energy.

My mind is telling me it's the other way around. At least that makes more sense.
There are set bonuses for wearing all of one set of armor. The Lynx set gives you increased attack speed when at or near full health for example which is very noticeable. I felt like I was in slow motion when I switched to a different set while using a single rig weapon.

There's a different attack animation if you hold the button down vs tapping it.

How do you know which parts from who do you need for updating weapons?
I fucking broke my head over that, but figured it out after wandering around for awhile.
Go back to Production B. You'll see new enemies near Circulation(?? forgot the name) tower door. Defeat them and you can overcharge it with your drone.
The parts for upgrading gear are the same for the most part. It just depends on the level of your gear. First area, drops lvl I parts, second area mostly drops lvl II parts and so on.
