Warframe |OT| Ninjas Play Free - PS4

So another event with a clan element is incoming - Operation: Ambulas Reborn.

Basically Ambulas will randomly spawn on Corpus planet missions, and you have to farm him for beacons that can be exchanged for rewards. Once the clan has collected a cumulative 2400 beacons the full reworked boss battle will unlock on Hades (costing 40 beacons per attempt,) giving you a Supra Vandal for beating it.

There are also clan trophies where only each clanmember's highest number of beacons on a single mission counts. For gold we'd need an average of 14-15 beacon runs if every clanmember participated (with each Ambulas giving between 2-6 beacons depending on mission level.)

After reading up on the Supra Vandal, I'm not really excited for it; but what the hell - it's one more weapon for mastery fodder. Let's go hack Ambulas, and get some beacons!

I wasn't either, but between the accuracy increase making it hit things more often (even with heavy caliber the accuracy is fairly decent), and the magazine increase making the three second reload not as much of an issue, I've been enjoying it. It's fine for everything but sortie 3, and if nothing else it's another usable primary weapon with an energy proc if you get the augment for it. And it goes pew pew pew.

FYI you'll need 775 of the Ambulas drops to buy one copy of everything that Ergo will sell.

I would suggest just getting the cosmetics and the unique (not syndicate) mods though. Most of those syndicate ones are very bad.

It's actually very good. The syndicate augment from Suda gives it a great status for a bullet hose.

Don't miss out on the Miter augment when it comes. Gives it a 90% chance to destroy the drone that generates a nullifier bubble. So not only can it pop them instantly, they also can't remake the bubble. It's been great sniping multiple bubbles, then pulling out Mesa's peacemakers.

Yeah but then you're stuck using the Miter...
That's not too much of a problem, considering secondaries and melee are the better weapon slots. It's not a big deal to essentially sacrifice your primary slot. If you bring a frame that can kill things with powers, popping nullies becomes high priority anyway. It just still has no use outside of corpus and maybe endless void/fissure missions.

I'd love to be added to the clan again as I've been away from the game for a while!

Well that's a new bug today. Got to round 17 and suddenly couldn't get energy at all. Carrier had at least 4 swirling around blocking my view, used energy pizza, even had a trinity try to give me some. Nothing. Jfc DE learn to q&a plz.

Oh wow the end of the Darvo fire sale allows you to buy multiple reactor/catalyst/forma at 55% off. I had assumed it was just 1 of each.

Nope splurge to your heart's content. maybe one day you'll be as cool as Forma_Addict.

That sounds like a connection issue. Were you able to pick up anything else?

As best I can tell, the clan has done everything we need to. The Supra is ready, and we should get the gold dojo trophy. Right now we're sitting at 25th among storm clans. Clan scoring isn't critical like it was in Pacifism Defect, but FWIW, the clan score is comprised of all clan member's high scores aggregated.

Ambulas drops every 3-5 minutes and as far as I can tell not more than once per wave in defense. The best scoring method we've found is to bring crowd control frames (Nova, Vauban, Weak High Duration Rhino, etc) and move through the waves nice and slowly. Today, we got 134 beacons in 20 waves on Outer Terminus Pluto.

Good luck!

Got the Supra yesterday. Boss isn't all that hard, it's more hack the Ambulas and defend it like a control point so that they don't revive the damn thing. I'll try to get some more animo drops later on today, it isn't really all that hard.

Supposedly the top picture is Oberon Prime. Bottom picture shows Syberis Prime's stats.
Better crit multiplier, better damage, double the status, innate punch through, better magazine. Slightly less accuracy and reload speed.

Might as well call it Sybaris Prime Access.

Oh, and Silva & Aegis Prime is supposedly coming too. It's going to need a huge upgrade to matter.

Scott last devstream: "we have too many variants of the same weapons". Adds a 3rd syberis. Okay then lol

Looking forward to Oberon but meh to the weapons.

Still need banshee and helios. Gone through like 20 of each axi relic and still nothing.

Did some testing on Outer Terminus with a group today, and it seems the basic spawn pattern is:

3-5 mins has to have passed.
It has to not have spawned previously in the current wave.

If these conditions are met it will spawn near the end of the current wave (meaning only 2-3 enemies left.), or at the start of the next wave. Whichever occurs first. (It also might not spawn on the first wave, but I haven't tested that properly.)

So the best strategy seems to be keep only 1-2 guys alive until it spawns, then kill everyone, move to the next wave and repeat.

Meh, I may probably skip the Prime hunting, not interested in Oberon.

25 and 50 for the shoulder and chest sigils.

75 for the projectile weapons mod

75 for the auto revive sentinel mod

75 for the aviator mod in case you sold it

100 for the ambulas noggle for your ship

The rest are syndicate related which costs 75

Yep, sounds like Scott alright. The very same Scott that either nails it 100% with warframe reworks or 0%. I guess someone had to scream at them to stop making dual swords already last year. We could actually use a new nikana that isnt just a direct damage upgrade from the last version while having no mechanical differences whatsoever. And they could go back and make some real adjustments to all those long sword weapons that have been sitting in the game, rotting as mastery fodder and really add some extra layers of functionality to them.

If the Silva and Aegis Prime datamine is accurate, it's got a 15% crit chance and a 25% status chance with 120 heat base damage. That actually makes it incredibly viable and probably above the Ack and Brunt.

Still wouldn't use its augment, of course.

Sybaris is a wet dream come true. That's a raw upgrade. Poor Dexy, I'm going to keep it in my inventory as a memento but I'll have zero reason to use it once this comes out.

Oberon prime is interesting, will be fun to see what buffs he gets. Another armor and health buff would be welcome, maybe more energy.

To be fair at least it isn't another Karak or something that already has a plethora of variants. They also know that these primes will make up for Oberon Prime in the PA pack. I mean just look at it.

This is pretty close to what we came up with as well, and much better explained than mine was.

My only quibble is that I think the end of waves only matters to the extent that you can only get only one per wave. Otherwise, they are on a strict timer. We did time hacks in squad chat, and they were extremely reliable at 3-5 minutes.

But the end result was us doing more or less the same thing you did:

  1. Get past the first wave, because no spawns
  2. Wait 3-5 minutes for a spawn every wave after that leaving a few enemies to clear
  3. Set a time hack and clear the wave
  4. Repeat until boredom overcomes you, because it'll be hours before it gets interesting

Is Quite Shallow a respected source? Their videos always just seem to be calling everything garbage. I stopped taking them serious after a few because it seemed like memes.

The wiki says the damage caps , so you cant stack it as the mod says.

I dont take her videos seriously too , I go watch DistantObserver for some builds

In that case they need to hire somebody better at writing mod descriptions. "Blocking absorbs 25% of incoming damage, stored as extra damage[...]" makes it sound like the damage converts before reduction because it includes the word 'incoming'. It should say something like "Converts 25% of damage taken as stored damage" if it processes after reduction. And that'd make more sense on a Warframe mod than a weapon mod. Or better yet hire someone who can actually make worthwhile mods. It could have been a fun gimmick.

Can Truth proc on just blocking? I never actually looked how the syndicate weapon procs work.

Edit: Does there happen to be any corrupted mods that reduce blocking effectiveness in exchange for more damage?

Edit2: Oh these mods are going to be added to syndicate's offerings eventually? In that case yeah no point in spending the effort getting them now. I was mostly concerned they'd be event exclusive (at least until added to Baro's offerings) and then someday down the line made useful.

They work based on exp gained using the weapon equipped.

1. No, the blocking damage reduction was only recently added when they removed the stamina meter.

2. It's my understanding they will be.

TIL this game had a stamina meter.
It was a damn glorious day when they got rid of it.

Pretty sure that update also came with parkour 2.0 which changed everything. I can't even imagine going back now.

I remember running through all the tilesets I'd played a million times and finding all this stuff up in the rafters. Amazing.

The last three mods are unique except for Aviator which was released in a event before Zephyr I think so go for the last three mods

I got all the non-weapon mods and cosmetics already. I was working on the weapon mods and then ship ornament. Guess I'll just pickup the ship ornament and be done.

Yep, I still can't believe there were people who left the game because they could no longer break the game through abusing the coptering bug. Literally, you could fling yourself like 100m + in an instant across the map and it ruined the diversity of choice of melee weapons.

So I'm definetly enjoying the game and progressing through the star chart and Mastery ranks. Up to Uranus and MR 7 with 3 frames at 30. I started working on farming the "important" mods before I keep going. Having some trouble with Streamline, Flow, and Continuity. Any body have a good farming spots for these. I also need hornet strike for mesa but putting that off for now since Point blank took me like 4 days.

Super early I would say be more concerned with just progressing through the planets and getting all the quests. The mods will come with time and then you dont waste time farming. Thats my thoughts on it anyways.
