Where's To Be Hero

My Hero Academia being over One Punch Man is a big damn shame, that show was pretty lame

List has Tiger and Bunny beating it, which is a correct statement as well.

I always wonder how people with bad opinions actually live with themselves.
I never watched Tiger and bunny so I cant say anything about its quality.

No Heroman?

s-CRY-ed is good. BD HD version in USA when :(

BLAME!

Well that was fucking fantastic. I love that we basically got 0 answers about sooo many things, and it's okay. A lot of things are shrouded in mystery (just who the hell is Killy really??), I wonder if the manga ever touches on them. You better believe this movie made me want to run and read the manga, everything from the lore, to the structures and mood we got was fantastic. As for the visuals, those were stupidly amazing at times, if only hurt by the frameyness in character movement. After a while your brain sort of adjusts to it and it's an effect that is gone altogether, but it took a good while

Re:Creators - 5

Wow the talking here didn't bother me. I enjoyed it for the most part and even a few jokes thrown in got a laugh out of me. The opening action bit was neat, maybe going in with lowered expectations did it for me.

Alice & Zoroku - 6

Now when I picked up the series this was what I was expecting, not shady government departments or aliens with the ability to warp reality. Very cute and relaxing, hopefully this is what the rest of the show is about.

Tekkaman was one of my first animes as a kid, at least that I can remember vs watching Doomed Megalopolis whilst waiting for Godzilla on Channel 4. Might try watching it again to see how it holds I'm, I had fond memories when I was younger.

It's great! One of my favorite mecha shows. Really cool actions moments. A cool dark theme. Humans trying to survive. It has fan-service though and that always seems to be what divide people on it.
See after watching Blame I could kinda see myself watching some more of that 3D stuff. I know it's by Polygon as well, and if it manages to look even half as good as Blame, with a cool theme to boot I'd definitely be willing to give it a shot.

If you liked BLAME! then you should definitetly at least give it a try. Polygon did an excellent job adapting it.

Given how often Tiger and Bunny still polls well in JP surveys I see, I'm surprised they haven't done more with the franchise. It still seems to have name recognition and fans in Japan.

I guess handing it over to the Namco Bandai side of things was a mistake. Also trying to figure out how Tiger and Bunny has thus far missed Toonami.

Shingeki no Kyojin - 23

Moar flashbacks ahoy. We already know what Mikasa's deal was with Eren back in Season 1, we don't need a retread of it please. I did enjoy Jean making a comeback and being part of the reinforcements group and the ending was legit. Regardless Reiner/Bertholdt coming out on top was legit and I particularly love how Eren has no arms to transform into Titan form when he woke up. However, Ymir seems particularly fine with both of her arms, is she fine with the kidnapping of her and Eren?

My Hero Academia - 21

Fun episode, but man did they blitz through so many fights. Vine girl was legit as I was complaining about the announcer last episode so it was nice to see a character do the same. I really don't get Aoyama's character or why he's in Class 1A in the first place, would rather have Vine girl, Tetsutetsu, or really any of the other 1B character to replace him. Hell I'd rather have Mei replace him, speaking of which Mei is best girl. And of course Tokoyami just winning the match right off the bat was enjoyable as well (still wonder why he has a bird head though).

Looking foward to Uraraka/Bakugou next episode and I hope its a long match too (atleast half the episode).

Blue Blazes - complete - that was fantastic! Just really funny with great characters all around. Best character is definitely Mad Holy. And I'm really glad I got around to watching pretty much all of the anime talked about in the series over the last few years. It felt good to just know what they were talking about. And whatever I wasn't familiar with, like Anno's student animations, I was able to watch on Youtube real quick.

I'd also say it's super-weird having yet another angle on the formation of Gainax. I mean, it's just not a topic I would even expect to get one show on, yet now I've watched two. And with that said I feel like I should re-watch Otaku no Video. Maybe right now.

One day I'd like to see Goldcrusader try to post something, anything at least slightly critical about MHA but then I worry he/she might then spontaneously combust on the spot so I abandon that thought.

Nidaime's making a strong push for my favourite character tbh. Just once again completely shuts Benten down and looks dignified af in the process. Also Kinkaku and Ginkaku are just aces this time around, maybe it's the lack of their shitbird father allowing them to be pure comic relief this go around but they're great in every scene they're in.

I am sure they will agree that there wasn't enough episodes in the first season :p
luckily the second season is making up for that.
