Wow - this really looks, I mean, I really wonder how this will get received by a mass audience. Sounds like a really cool idea for a Far Cry game though, and I'm so down if it's good.

Incredible. This thread gave me entertainment today while i was at work.

Also premise kicks ass, get to hunt me true 'merikans!

Really hope there is a mission to save the Crusader wolf and turn him against them.

Also just noticed that the woman in the wedding dress is being pushed and "offered" by someone off screen

I think it is a cool premise, but my money is that Ubisoft completely veers into the fantastical and doesn't get even close to any real political commentary.

That said, they are going to get alot of free publicity on this.

Wow, this could get really really interesting if handled intellige...brain, shut the fuck up. Hey guys, look there's stuff in the background we can climb, a doge and a bow.

Joking aside, I want this to be good. No buy, if yet another formulaic 10-year-franchise-plan-asset-swap.

Love everything about this except the fact that if you threw a flannel on me I could pass for the guy on the far left. Has a bit of a Briggs Land vibe going on, which is an excellent comic book for those who do not know which I believe is being optioned for a TV series.
Briggs-Land-Cover.jpg

Briggs Land, nearly a hundred square miles of rural wilderness, contains the largest antigovernment secessionist movement in the United States. When matriarch Grace Briggs wrests control of the operation from her incarcerated husband, she sparks a war within the community—and her immediate family—that threatens to bring the full power of the federal government down on their heads.
Brian Wood? Sold.

i loved far cry 4, it had it's issues (mainly not being able to skip cutscenes if you had to replay a mission because you died) but man it was fun to play

far cry primal didnt grab me at all, it was a good premise but once you've cleared out enemy camps via a gyrocopter with the help of a grenade launcher or wingsuited across large portions of the map it's hard to have all that taken away and replaced with a spear

just give me a prone button and the option to skip cutscenes and i'll be a happy camper, really looking forward to this

No doubt. My man can do no wrong. It is an excellent series though. One of my favorites of the past year in fact.
I have a feeling this game is going to completely deviate from what makes Briggsland so good, but there is a slightly similar tone for sure.

Well you have to give them credit for always having interesting/intriguing looking villains.

Though you might also argue that villains are where all the creative effort went, since everything else stayed largely the same :p

This shows promise though.
Why so few apostles ? Wonder if this art was cropped.

I love the idea. I hope they don't hold any punches and go full GTA with the satire/parodies.

Prepare to get ate up by that wolfdog tho. Looks like he don't take no shit.

After entries featuring the worst of the Caribbean, the worst of Africa, the worst of Asia, no... It's the worst of US that's cross the line. :p

Clearly you've never been through the wrong part of Indiana, Oklahoma, Kentucky, etc.

Idaho can be sketchy too. I did a solo camp in Idaho, and encountered skinheads. The story below is from my post on a camping thread awhile back.

"I was woken up by terrifying noises in the middle of the night. I went up a nearby hill to see what was going on. I saw a group of over 10 guys at least, all bald, all with tattoos, armed with rifles on them. They were burning all kinds of garbage and really trashing the area. I knew if these guys caught me i'd never be found. That was my first time camping in the U.S, haven't gone back since."

Jesus, that sounds terrifying.

I hope you'll give camping in the US another shot. There truly are some beautiful places to just enjoy nature in this country. Montana ironically being one of them :p
