What? I know it's probably to avoid people registering for tickets, then not showing up leaving them with half-empty theaters.

Do they at least restrict the number of reservations per theater, so they don't end up with thousands of registrations in a theater with only a couple hundreds seats?

Yeah that sounds like bullshit.

Fuck! I might try and go to the ones in NJ. I'm really looking forward to E3

EDIT: on the other hand that first come, first serve shit is kinda shitty and might not be worth the potential hassle, drive and rejection when arriving.

If you plan on going to the PlayStation E3 Experience, I would suggest making a Gofobo account before the tickets go up.

They usually sell out within minutes so I assume they do not sell more than the number of seats available. If I remember correctly, last year they had a line for people with tickets and another line for the waiting list people. Maybe it is up to the theater how they manage it.

I'm super excited it's coming back to Salt Lake City!

But I don't remember having to make a Gofobo account last year. I guess I'll do it now.

In for Omaha NE. A group of friends and I have been doing this for as long as it's started, and it's been a blast every single time. The entire theater about lost their damn minds when The Last Guardian, Final Fantasy VII Remake, and Shenmue III were shown. It was fucking amazing.

WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?
Ugh. Both of the AZ ones are a ways away. Tuscon makes sense but thats a two hour drive. And I cannot fathom why they chose Suprise for the other location. Its on the complete ass-end of phoenix, no where close to the rest of the metro area.

What was the digital stuff they gave away last year?

Do they allow you to get multiple tickets at one shot? I know gofobo usually allows for 2.

Normally it was 2 tickets I think but it had to be a confirmed person.

Last year was like 5$ PSN, a PlayStation cup, PlayStation Lanyard, a card and a poster thing.
Year before was an Arkham Knight Skin, PSN $, a beta, a lanyard.

What is this about Gofobo?
That wasn't a thing before.

Gofobo is just replacing Eventgrid, which was the vendor used to distribute tickets previously. Difference being that Eventgrid allows anonymous checkout. They probably switched to Gofobo to collect personal data.

They are not doing one in Cincinnati this year. Huh thats strange Cinemark loves to do this kinda stuff. Oh well I was thinking of skipping this year and doing it at home anyway.

Thinking about attending in LA, since I'll be in town for E3. Anyone interested in going together? Gotta figure out which theater is closest to EA Play (if I even go to that) or LAX.

Entire thing seems bad this year. Last year there was a list of names as well here it sounds like even if u go thru the he'll of trying to sign up u may not get in

Yeah kind of sketchy. Also what's this tickets doesn't guarantee you a seat that weird. I still always show up early but at least they reserved those seats for tickets holders to wait and choose a seat with leftovers going to people who showed up without a ticket.

Also they have massively reduced theatre choice. Only 2 theatres in my Area.

Probably just coverage fine print as before if you had a ticket but weren't there like 20 minutes ahead you were jumped by waiting list people without tickets.

Can't wait, been going to this thing for years. I remember when they dropped the Destiny Alpha bomb 4 years ago! I'm hoping for something similar for D2

Now what's the next step in your master plan?
Anyone going to the showing in Hamilton New Jersey hit me up. I live like 20 minutes from there.
