This is one of the dumbest posts I have seen in this thread and actually posting false information.

No one plays Hulk? A god damn EVO champion used Hulk. Firebrand and Cap Am? They are repeated top 8 finishers at EVO as well. The Capcom side sucks? Some of the most powerful characters in Marvel 3 are Capcom characters... Morrigan, Zero, Vergil, Viper, Spencer, Firebrand, Dante, Strider etc. Even Chun Li has been seeing play because of RyanLV, a contender to win EVO this year.

Those characters you listed won't see play? It doesn't matter the characters themselves, it matters how good they are. People would play as a toilet seat if it was top tier. Stop kidding yourself on that notion.

If this leak is legit, It'll be the first time in my life I won't be getting a new marquee fighting game at launch.

Will keep a close eye on the DLC tho

How does a collaboration game have a roster this lackluster? One of the reasons I got into MvC was the expansive roster. What happened to Capcom fighters man? 😳

Thinking and talking with people, I'm more okay with the list (Jedah hype). The gems will allow some of the characters that I personally am not feeling to do some cool things and we still have yet to see a lot of gameplay from these characters.

Really hope the early dlc knocks it out of the park.

My wishlist:

Nina (breath of fire)
Black panther
Lord raptor
Asura
Cable
Batsu
Onimusha rep
Red earth rep
Venom (confirmed coming eventually)
Mr sinister
Vision
Black widow
Dust (new x men)

I feel Marvel dictated the Marvel side and likely was convinced BP as DLC will help.
Capcom's side was dictated by tournament players if you guys confirm actual tournament people were involved in the mechanics.

Again, watch Capcom pick Shuma over Kamala because CAPCOM.

I really wish that alleged all Marvel fighting game found a developer.

I sort of understand where Bronson comes from. Think about it like this, would the likes FChamp, Yipes or Jwong seriously play characters like Cap or Hulk? I would think no. They appeal to a different kind of play, one associated with simplicity i think.

Maybe it's called MvC Infinite because they plan to infinitely support it with DLC characters.

If that's the case, Capcom should fully embrace the F2P model and offer the base platform for free.

I'm actually hoping that the roster is inaccurate or incomplete because there is no way I'm buying this game with these characters.

I mean, I know Marvel (or that Ike Perlmutter fella) is going out of their way to not promote the FF and the X-men, but come on... at the very least they could have added a few more characters from outside the MCU right? Weren't the comics making a big push on Inhumans recently? Those chaps would make GREAT fighters.

For example:
Black Bolt
Medusa
Karnak
Miss Marvel
Lockjaw
Moon Girl + Devil Dinosaur

And if you want more variety:
Squirrel Girl
Blue Marvel
America Chavez
Nighthawk (literally Marvel's Batman)
Quasar
Aunt May (with a gun!)
Tara Tam (from Howard the Duck)
and many many more....

So yeah, long story short, WTF Capcom (if the roster is real, I mean).

I picked Hulk from the beginning of MVC3 and will continue to pick Hulk in MVCI. He's one of Marvel's most popular characters and has been in the games since the beginning. I just hope he still has tons of armor. Mmm, armor. There weren't actually a ton of characters in UMVC3 with armor.

When it comes to fighting games, this is why I prefer the list coming out early. Since there's nothing worse than waiting till the very end to see nothing you wanted there. I don't wanna go through Smash again.

I feel like the final list is the last of the refurbished MvC3 models we will get. So Capcom basically picked some popular characters, and then ones that would likely sell the least amount of dlc. I'm confident that if Vergil is in now it will be his DMC5 incarnation, because i hope at least capcom won't try to sell refurbished MvC3 models for dlc... I actually think Dante will be his DMC5 or DMC1 self...

Wouldn't be surprised if due to the release that a lot of good stuff mentioned early on was regulated to DLC.
I fully expect to see the DLC hype being more than th base roster musters

Well, I have Sigma, and jedah is dope. I used dante, cap, and some others in Mvc3 so I know I'll find characters to use. I'm okay with the list but it could have blown people away, that part feels like a missed opportunity.

What's wrong with having gng characters? Not gonna lie, i ould prefer any pick other than them but their inclusion in umvc3 was a nice surprise, though if gng is gonna get a rep in a new mvc, it really shpuld be one rep

I think he was lamenting that there were two GnG characters not that there are any to begin with.
