Well, they are allegedly making a new Monster Hunter for the west. They aim to get new audience and it's probably not that risky/expensive to publish it on Xbox One

Both would be good, but Demon Souls has spiritual successors - SotC has a single remaster on PS3.

They take a decade to make a next-gen console "MH" and when they finally do they lock it out of their biggest audience outside of Japan that might actually be interested in it lol. Given that PS4 and Vita owners are the main ones who've asked for one for years that haven't gotten one.

Oh man, ICO/SotC remake being a bomb and something to be hyped about after being able to play those games for over a decade now deflates my hype greatly for whatever there is to come. Guess I shouldn't expect anything new from FROM Software which is frankly the only thing I really care about right now when it comes to Sony's stuff. Besides GoW that is, but that one is guaranteed to be shown.
Is it really? The game can be played on PS2 and PS3.
If Shawn's talk about "Japanese games coming back in a big way" means a first party remake and some multiplatforms here and there then I should keep my expectations in check for in the future everytime the man says something.
