It's not like she immediately dedicated her life to Christa just based upon what she overheard. She joined the recruits to check her out and could've left at just about every point, even in dangerous situations, considering her Titan powers. But she became attached to Christa and her kindness, even though she wanted Christa to discard just that. They became close friends if not more and well, at that point Ymir did have someone she cared for very much.

If Christa were to leave the recruits or later SC Ymir would've been more than happy about that. However, Ymir failed to convince Christa about joining the MP instead of the scouts.

You're right that there was all this training period as well as the assignment choice. Kinda slipped my mind. This doesn't quite convince me but Ymir's behaviour is certainly more understandable with this in mind

Edit: Seems like there's a whooping amount of 3 shows/movies available lol.

The early movie look as well as grand orchestral music for Kashima's singing was a nice touch.

Honestly, she and Kashima are carrying the show. Mikorin, Nozaki and Chiyo are pretty inconsistent while the editor and tanuki-mangaka drag it down. And I'm bit letdown by by the animation aspect, after nice first episode, it's been all rather perfunctory. I haven't been following much of Dokagobo's work but this is a far cry from Love Lab, all the more so they can spend so much time just showing manga panels.

Looks like nobody wants to officially say yet? :p

Of course, the whois information for HIDIVE, theanimenetwork and sentaifilmworks all points to Network Solutions and Amazon Web Services, but it could of course be coincidence...

If this really is just a rebrand for TAN, I guess that makes sense. I don't think anyone even considers TAN when it comes to streaming anime, so... might as well launch a "new" service and hope people check that out instead.

Shokugeki no Soma Episode 12: I very much enjoyed the twist here where Soma was denied the opportunity to take over the duel. Since his entire argument is Megumi is a good enough chef to remain a student, it only makes sense that Megumi would have to be the one to take the lead. Though I felt like the writer couldn't help himself and had to squeeze in the whole "Soma is predicting what Megumi needs without overstepping his bounds" factoid anyway.

Oh yeah, I saw this posted elsewhere, but apparently majority of Sentai Filmworks' catalog is getting pulled from Hulu on July 1st.

Massive Anime Strike catalog increase incoming?

There's actually a girl in Konosuba that looks like a female Kazuma. She's a background character in that other adventurer group.

I absolutely love Seo's staredowns along with her funny faces and amazing laugh.

Doga Kobo is generally alright, there's New Game S2 coming up in the Summer.

3+ different paid streaming services just to watch anime freaking sucks man.

Crunchyroll, FunimationNow, Netflix, Anime Strike, Hulu, The Anime Network/HIDIVE

It's gotten ridiculous lol

God, fuck Netflix US for this shit.

Yeah like, I want to support the series legally because I really like the manga, but based on Little Witch Academia, they probably won't upload the damn episodes until the end of the year. What gets me the most is Hulu and Amazon have both adapted to Simulcasts, but Netflix has dragged their feet. Admittedly, Amazon apparently got major delay issues, but they at least make some effort. Netflix is satisfied to just sit on a title for months on end.

The thing that gets me about Netflix is that Netflix Japan will put up anime episodes on a weekly basis alongside their TV broadcast, but Netflix in other regions refuses to follow suit and waits for batch releases. It's annoying when good anime get ignored and forgotten by the English-speaking community because Netflix holds them hostage.

Guys, there are only two more episodes of Tiger Mask W left.

Anime will go back to be totally suplexless.

Completely driving elbow dropless.

What a sad timeline.

If that's the best 'episode impression' it has to offer then you shouldn't be surprised why :>

That was more a wondering if it was still worth talking about. As for the actual review, well, the series has gotten surprisingly meta with this episode as a local show begins filming for a documentary show and basically begins to point out some of the flaws with this whole production. Also if you enjoy the inner workings of local festival planning this is the episode for you.

Nah Wife and I still watch it. Quite enjoying it actually.

Same but it's not without its faults. Like the two parter with Ririko, first episode my mind sort of drifted but the second episode really drove home her isolation from the rest of the town and insecurities. But for the most part I am liking all the characters and their interaction, gotten a decent amount of laughs out of me too.

Like 99% of Netflix's users clearly prefer to binge-watch, and simulcast anime is such a tiny fraction of their catalogue they probably don't even care or consider that anime viewers prefer week-to-week

Saekano S2 EP 10

It was great to see eriri and utaha getting fired up and bonding in the process, and then tomoya saying he didn't hold it against them, even though the girls bailed on him without proper warning. It' better than it has any right to be.
