Incy Wincy Spider*. As sure as the sun will rise tomorrow. Australia here.

And it's his name - "washed poor Incy out".

*source, my wife and 2 daughters.

I got one.

Is it "lean a little closer and see roses really smell like poo poo ooo" or "boo boo ooo."

I had a friend say that Andre was saying poo poo because boo boo is when you're hurt but some people say boo boo for shit. I think he's saying boo boo.

Interesting to note the regions - and the fact that the two visible examples of Itsy Bitsy that are from Europe are referring to tattoos.

(But also, I'm not sure this is something that particularly merits many news stories written about it!)

Worth mentioning that I've also seen the Incy version written Incey and even Eensy.

This changes things. Also, spectacular top headline:

I'm supposed to be working.

I note that this article listing "incy" also refers to the bizarre "Ring-o ring-o-rosies"

There are heaps of variations on Ring a Ring o' Rosies but that one just looks like a misunderstanding.

I'm waiting for Ringu Ringu Rosies, the Japanese horror thing that's not actually about the Black Death but everyone thinks it is.

UK seems to favour 'incy wincy'. But being an old bastard, I remember an old children's TV show called 'paperplay' which was an arts/crafts show with two spider hand puppets called.

itsy and bitsy.

also Susan Stranks was a child crush of mine.

That means nothing, though.

Moschops = 92,100

And Moschops actually existed.

I fucking *loved* moschops. He always did that thing with his head. If I remember correctly

'and moschops thought and thought, until he got that funny feeling which meant a special thought was coming' - which is when he'd have his big bright idea of the show

Seems most of the thread is on the right side of history and are aware that it is itsy bitsy, as it should be

It's Incy Wincy.
The Mandella effect dimension you Itsy Bitsy people come from is indeed a disturbing place.
I never even heard of Itsy Bitsy before this thread.

Moschops was fantastic, agreed.

Only reason he doesn't say Incy Wincy is that there weren't spiders then.

Valve are a US based company, therefore they have no authority over the English language. I think we need QEII to settle this one, I'll give her a bell and get back to you.

England lost control over everything else it once governed, so why not the language too.

We still have ultimate say over anything inherently rain-based.

Although possibly the Welsh beat the rest of the UK on that.

Well, I guess that settles it.
