If the question is as I understand it, will Nintendo publish their games on PC, it's not that great.

What Im seeing from the is that since nintendo has ventured outside its own ecosystem by releasing stuff to mobile (ios and android), he or she's probably asking if they will release software (games or apps) or hardware (accessories or something that might tie in to 3DS or switch). But dumb Q to ask tho since they probably wouldnt answer directly but I like the Q.

Answer was completely expected, just like how I don't see Sony releasing their first party titles on PC.

It doesn't have to be 1st part title or games, it could be something that compliment the switch or 3ds but from that question it's probably asking for nintendo releasing pc games lol

Hell, a VC on PC would ensure that I'll only ever have to buy SMB3 one time digitally and keep it instead of buying it three different times on three different consoles lol.

Then there's no point. Mobile is different enough that you can warrant making decidedly different styled games exclusively for it. You can't really do that with PC unless they're simple web games, or companion games (which again, would be better suited for mobile)

You're acting like it was the HW that prevented this. Nintendo could have made VC content fully BC if they wanted to, but they were too concerned with their 100% perfect emulation so instead of going with base emulator + roms every VC title is its own emulator + rom package

Why can't they at least release an app to store save files on PC/Mac like the 3DS has?!

Also this is my first time being able to post during a Nintendo meeting...I am more excited than I should be.

Oh more for question 2.

A2: Shinya Takahashi: ”We were at E3 2 wks ago w/ Mario Odyssey. This year public had access for 1st time; 50K industry; 15K public. (1/2)

A2: Takahashi: Ppl lined up at Nintendo booth since early morning. Hard to see floor. Last day usually less busy but not this year (2/2

A2: Miyamoto: I participated in Rabbids PR/special presentation. Tons of attention towards Nintendo; seems PC didn't have as much this year

Do we usually get questions asking them to clarify release windows from E3?

Yoshi, Kirby, Metroid Prime 4, and Pokemon all have vague release windows and I wouldn't mind having a window for Prime.

Piracy.

“It’s everything from not only how is it going to work but it’s also how we do this in a way that doesn’t lend itself to piracy or systems or our core software infrastructure that can be modded or hacked.”

Still, I'd love for Nintendo to consider something with the PC platform, but their mobile efforts are basically to get their IP's out to the casual audience to go buy their consoles. The PC crowd probably already knows of their ip's.
