Time to see if NOA is lying about 2018 release schedule.

And man does that Red and White catches your attention. So glad the silver white days are gone.

As usual. I tend to mention both Takashi and Dr. Toto as they usually provide good commentary on the meeting itself once materials and Q&A transcript are made available.

ahh yeah I see. it's more of a reminder to those that hoping to see him tweeting stuff while the meeting is ongoing.
I tend to forgot, but how long generally q&a transcript is up on Nintendo website?

Should I care about this?

Maybe? I wouldn't expect anything earth shattering for new game announcements, if any at all, but we might get some clarifications on stuff we don't know a lot about right now, like their mobile release strategy for the rest of 2017 and perhaps more idea on where they're taking Switch's online subscription. Usually, the biggest thing is getting an update on their release schedule for the rest of the fiscal year, so we might see a thing or two with how those might get shuffled around.

Haha I was just thinking about this today! Mario Odyssey won Best of Show from the Game Critics Awards, and as I was thinking about that I recalled Miyamoto talking at one of these last year and being like, "Breath of the Wild won a ton of awards at E3, and here's a video of people stampeding to our booth." So I knew it was coming up. Pleasantly surprised that it's happening TONIGHT.

Ask me about the GAF Notebook
Only info we might get that I care about if clarification on their mobile startegy.

They've basically said nothing since Fire Emblem hit mobile while just pushing more content for that.

They might give some answers on when investors can expect their next mobile title.

Nintendo is gonna do a lot of apologizing about the stock shortages.

This is what I'm most interested to hear about. I hope someone asks in the Q&A about component shortages and if any adjustments have been made to the projected manufacturing levels for the year.

They already cleared that statement up

for Prime 4 and Pokemon

The statement they cleared up was not the sentence that involved Metroid in 2018. It was the one afterwards that included Pokémon.

Metroid in 2018 can still happen, it's Pokémon that they wanted to push expectations back for.

My portfolio is ready.

That's the best part.

...cause there tend to be at least a few entertainingly dumb questions.

Remember when that one shareholder was like "I don't get why you're so focused on games. I don't like them."

Not even joking.

Didn't they already release a statement about that?

They were basically just like, "We are sorry for the shortages. We will be ramping up production in July and August."

Which, if I was an investor, would not satisfy me. Also, only NCL put out that statement, not NOA or NOE. So we don't really know which additional markets are going to see the fruits of that upped production, if any.

Can't wait to see how many dumb questions shhareholders will ask. Never forget that one who complained about the public transport to get to the meeting. Like it was Nintendo's fault.
