Literally bought all of the classic SNK fighting game collections. Such a bargain at around £4 each! Can't wait to dive into Fatal Fury: Real Bout 2 and Twinkle Star Sprites. So these are the ones I'm getting so far:

Fatal Fury: Battle Archives
ADK Damashi
Fu'un Super Combo
Samurai Showdown VI
The Last Blade 2

All for £17

Managed to not buy loads of games on the basis that I just won't have much time to play them before they potentially go on sale again, and have ended up with Danganronpa 2 and Claire: Extended Cut for my Vita.

Apologies if it's been asked already, I couldn't see anything skimming through the topic. For someone who has never played a Yakuza game before, would it be a good idea to get 4 and 5 on PS3 before playing 0? Or just skipping them and going for 0?

Otherwise, I grabbed the entire MGS series on PS3 and nabbed MGSV on Steam during the Summer Sale, so I'm doing a playthrough of the entire series and freaking love it so far. I had only played 1-3 before, so Peace Walker, 4 and 5 will all be new experiences. Can't wait.

Also, grabbed the DMC HD Collection and Dark Chronicle remake, so I'm having a rather nostalgia-filled time at the moment.

Playing 0 first is perfectly fine.

Play 0 first.

Also I've been playing Digimon Cyber Sleuth lately and it's lots of fun. Sort of a Persona lite with a strong Megaman Battle Network vibe. I also recommend that.

Bought Dark Cloud and Chronicle.

I haven't bought Berseria because I got it a day before in GAME for 39.95€. I'm perfectly fine with paying 5€ and getting the retail version though.

Ok, I keep seeing people recommend Ys but they never explain why. Why is it good? Is it story, gameplay, music? Is Ys Origin a good starting point? Is that Ys game on Vita a better one?

Basically, someone sell me on Ys.

I'm playing Origin on PS4 and am loving it. The music is good but it's biggest selling point is it's a action packed action RPG. Basic combat gets better and better as you progress. (Which doesn't take all that long because I'm a little over 7 hours in with a character who's maxed out one combat style and is 1 upgrade away from doing same on the other 2.)
Origin is cross-buy, btw.

Hovering other the idea of the latest King of Fighters and/or finally giving an Atelier title a shot.

anyone got the scoops of KoF's overall content right now as well as where to even begin with the Atelier games? all those OST of the year threads are gradually edging me towards one.

I don't know why Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD never fall below £19.99, I've been waiting for them to drop lower for a long time now.

Play 0 and then Kiwami, which is a remake of 1 and coming out in late August.

Non of the Final Fantasy games have ever been discounted for more than 50% on PSN if I'm not mistaken (except for the price mistake on XV). So it's not going any cheaper, unless they lower the initial asking price of the game.

I decided to get Final Fantasy VII, VIII and IX. For 4,99 € each so why not and these are some nice final games for my Vita.

I never played em but i wanted to experience VII and IX for sure IX is the series creators favorite and VII is hugely aclaimed VIII well i like Squal in Kingdom Hearts lol. I don't mind playin dated games tho so that should be fine;)

Glad I decided to get The Sexy Brutale, finished it yesterday and it's a damn fine game. I'm even going back to unlock more lore and learn about some of the guests. Definitely recommended in this sale.

Really itching for Final fantasy X. Haven't played an JRPG in ages and i remember loving it fondly back in the day. Not sure if i want to risk shatter those good memories by playing it again lol.

I can't get Stein's Gate out of my mind since I finished it a couple of weeks, what an incredible experience.
I need SG0 in my life but I'm so fucking broke. Ugh, this is so frustrating.

Thinking about dropped a cool tenner on Resident Evil 4. Never played it, and in fact, the last Resident Evil game I actually played and enjoyed was back in the PS1 era. Reckon I'll get anything out of it? I heard it sort of inspired TLOU in some respect, which I love.

I've only played REmake, RE4 and RE7 and out of those 3 I personally like remake the best, but theres no doubt 4 is one of the best games ever made. Definitely worth the $10.

I haven't even started playing the games from the Big In Japan sale yet.

You can only register one regions account on the Vita right?

Yep you have to reset the Vita if you want to change regions.

Still haven't bought all the games I wanted from the previous sale (we got till tomorrow) and now they add even more? Almost all of my wish listed games are now on sale.. damn!

Think I'm going to bite on Gravity Rush Remastered for 9,99 and Titanfall 2 for 19,99 even though that game goes on sale every other sale for less and less..
