It's hard to answer that question for you without knowing your budget, but allow me to break it down beyond what the website does (
https://www.epicgames.com/fortnite/en-US/pre-order/standard).
The base version, at $40 (guessing that you are in the US), is pretty bare bones. You get the game, and you need to earn damn near everything, and you get 7 pinatas of various forms, those give you gear.
The deluxe version, at $60, has a lot more. Instead of starting with one hero, you have two for each class, and you get a small selection of guns right off of the bat, along with a founder's pistol, and now you get 33 pinatas of various types.
The super deluxe, at $90, gives you everything the deluxe does, as well as a copy of the base version to give to a friend, some in game defenders, more vault space, in game banner icons, and now 47 pinatas.
The limited edition is $150, and it gives you everything the super deluxe does, plus even one more copy to give to a friend, even more vault space, more backpack space, two legendary heroes of your choice, as well as a legendary weapon to go along with those heroes, and now 99 loot pinatas.
What does that all mean? Hell if I know. I think if you are more than just a little interested, you should probably go with the $60 version. If you have a friend who's into it, and wants to give you some cash for it, or you just want to be nice, the upgrade to the $90 version has some nice stuff.
I opted for the $150 package, probably because I'm stupid, but I have two friends who are psyched, I get a couple legendary heroes, and a bunch of other stuff that I would probably get if I played at least X hours (literally we have no idea of knowing how long it would take to get all the stuff you'd get in the limited edition - it may be 8 hours of playing, or it may be 800, tomorrow we'll have a better idea). Keep in mind that you can buy the base version, and if you want more you can upgrade in game and pay the difference.
Hope that helps.
