I had a round of Salmon Run earlier where one round involved looking for a "Goldie" who hides in enemy ink geysers.
Nobody knew how to track the Goldie down, me included. Suffice it to say, we lost that round.
I wonder how many more special bosses in Salmon Run I have yet to see.

Sooo, what is the cheapest way to connect my headphones to pc and switch?
I need a FEMALE to 2 x MALE adapter for that in order to hear switch and discord.
Do I need a certain adapter or cable? On amazon there are products for TWO headphones, which isn't what I need. I only have one headphone but TWO audio sources.
Or does it not matter?

I used a male to male aux cable to plug my Switch's audio output into my desktop's mic input, then I just used VLC to playback the Switch audio with some slight audio delay. Apparently W10 makes this easier, but I use Debian Linux.
Alot of people really still don't know that in turf war inking the turf is the most important objective, multiple people that approach it in a team death match like way in one team always lose.
I sometimes singlehandedly saved my teams win because of people in my team that played that way.

there should be an option in the menu for salmon run to view a manual. It shows every type of event that could happen.
What do you think the lore is behind Salmon Run? I am guessing it's actually evil intend the salmon are crawling onland maybe they are trying to evolve? But maybe squids etc kill em to prevent another dominant species to come, altho mr grizz collecting their eggs is pretty suspicious too.
And the waters look kinda toxicated maybe it's due to that waste they become so aggresive or they are so aggresive nature wise, maybe that's why squids get rid of em to prevent going extinct by em if they rush on mainline land?
Anyway really liking salmon run so far and these are just some small theories of mine.

The salmonids don't appear to be a threat to landspace and the inklings are just doing it for the money/fun. The inklings used to be at peace with the octarians before rising sea levels drove them to war over living space, but that has been forgotten by everyone but Captain Cuttlefish, the Squid Sisters, and Sheldon and the Octarians. The majority of inklings are oblivious and just into fresh youth activities.

Ah i see. I wonder if they will ever make peace. With Marina it seems not all of them want war but maybe just like Inklings some Octarians or Octolings also don't know about the secret sheme of Octavio and the war. It also seems Cuttlefish and Octavio once were friends sort of based by a sunken scroll from Splatoon 1.
Damn that seawater rising must have really changed things up

Newcomer to Splatoon here. Is it recommended to play through the campaign before hopping into the multiplayer Or is this one of those games where it does really matter and you can pick up the mechanics through the multi?

Because that would be super boring
if you need practice with basics like getting used to gyro or the way the game controls or some of the basics of movement etc singleplayer is useful, but in splatoon you will learn best from destroying your enemies and feasting on their tears.

Just bought the new brush and played 3 rounds with it. For Turf War it feels good to me, going to stuck with it for a while.

Thanks good to know Nintendo designed their shooter like everyone else when it comes to picking up mechanics.
Once Rocket League and FIFA are out it means that every multiplayer game that I play will be on Switch. I never would have predicted that when Switch was announced.
I don't take multiplayer seriously so the Nintendo stable of Arms, Mario Kart and Splatoon are perfect to just pick up and play for 20 minutes. Rocket League falls right into that category.

Losing or winning often can just feel like you are at the whim of the team balancing system. So many games where I play well and top my team but we still lose by a tonne or vice verse.
But then you have a game like Jintor described above and you're like "damn, this is the fucking greatest game".

Man, I hate the Rollers in the this game.
And no, it isn't because Roller users are hard. It's the opposite. They all suck. If you get a Roller in your team, that person drags the entire team down. I got on a team with two to three Rollers and got wiped.
Man, I miss playing against the Japanese Rollers. They knew what they were doing and it was fun to test myself against them.

With the exception of the weapon, your inkling looks like mine, down to the eye colour and pants.
It's not in Zelda, it is in Kart, it's not in Splatoon... Make up your mind Nintendo! (Or patch everything with touch menus)

I asked this earlier but didn't get any replies, is there no Squid Jump anymore while I'm searching for a game? It was such a fun little timewaster in Splatoon 1 while waiting for players.
I also hope that they update the game to allow handheld motion controls whilst leaning back. Especially when they went out of their way to show off relaxed laid back gaming at E3:
