And he is an inexperienced kid for whom Tony freaking Stark feels responsible because he encouraged Peter to be Spider Man on a larger scale.
Hell, he tried to make him an Avenger. No way he asks that of a kid without utilizing his tech prowess to protect him.

honestly why doesn't Iron Man give super powered suits to the other guys who aren't super? Would make sense that Scarjo and Hawkeye at least are given suits.

This is my issue with the Thanos.... I think Marvel Studios has done a poor job building up the hype necessary as to why Thanos is no mere villian of the week they have in nearly every movie. Perhaps Thor 3 will be that bridge.
That would be the perfect time and place to do it.

The team-ups here are even exciting than Avengers 1 IMO. The first Avengers, all the heroes were so Earth centric (even Thor's movie spent a large part on Earth). Here, the different heroes are so distinctly separate from eachother or have been apart for so long - Dr Strange, the Guardians, Thor/Hulk and the rest of the Avengers - that seeing them all together feels even crazier and more comic book-y than that original moneyshot
Loving the team-ups too. Cap and Black Panther in Wakanda? Thor and the Guardians? Spidey, Stark, and the Guardians? Dr Strange and Banner? Those are comic book event issues brought to life right there
