So where does Theon go from here?

If he goes back to Dany, he'll end up bumping into Jon Snow, which should be hilarious to watch.

If Jon bend the knee to Danny, Sansa has perfect reason to betray him and claim the north.
I thought about then, but she'd still have Whitewalkers to deal with. Her reign would be a short short one, if she picked that. Maybe she doesn't fully understand the threat?

I still don't understand how Euron could rebuild his fleet, sail all the way around Dorne and get to Kings Landing before Theon and Yara join Dany at Mereen and then Dragonstone.

Based on this map:

He'd have to be right behind Theon and Yara's fleet when they first left the Iron Isles. Sailing all the way south around Dorne and then back up the Narrow Sea.

But didn't he have to rebuild his own fleet first? How did he do that so fast?

Ignoring the build time stuff, Theon/Yara were shown to have stopped on their way to Mereen at least once, and would have spent a fair bit of time in Mereen itself. Mereen is not even on that map - it's off to the right past Valyriain Slaver's Bay, quite a haul. The one bit of extra interpolation I could offer is that Euron has *not* brought 1000 ships, and didn't need much time to sail off. He could have used the fleet he had, plus whatever was left behind, and had his lackey's do the shipbuilding while he's off establishing a link to Cersei.

Cersei and Jamie talked about Dany's fleet BEFORE Euron showed up, so they were already on their way to Dragonstone when Euron walks in to the throne room.

You have to suspend some disbelief and take these things into account.

Yara and Theon took maybe the Top 15% of the Iron Fleet. They didn't take EVERY SINGLE SHIP.

I don't think the Ironborn would build ships in this case, but maybe go out and reeve and pillage some ships from somewhere else.

Aside from Jon, Danaerys has been hyped up as the savior of Westeros for six seasons. You kinda had to see this coming.

Never said I didn't, but she is probably my least favorite character in the entire series. I would rather see Littlefinger on the Throne than her.

I think it makes sense that only a small number of soldiers left with Yara and Theon. Yara isn't the legitimate ruler of the Iron Islands; Euron is. There are problems with continuity here, but I'd rather they just move past it.

What lol? I actually don't think Littlefinger would be a terrible king. He understands that stability is a power in itself. And his rise has been nothing short of meteoric from a total nobody to Lord of the Vale.

Who?

How?

They're vikings. They do viking things with their ships. Coastal people fall prey to the Ironborn because they have no naval projection. Their very way of life is predicated on the fact that they have a TREMENDOUS navy and no one else around does.

Anyway it's likely Yara couldn't crew every ship in the Ironborn fleet but the whole thing is stupid. Some RTS level fuckery going on with top of the line ships being built in weeks.

Dorne is so fucked up. Is their little siege off now because Cersei has the wife of the brother of the king who murdered that king? Or no one gives a fuck and they keep going with the plan.

Anyway, Cersei is about to order some real fucked up shit for the Mountain to do to the Dornish girls.

Dany is terrible and she doesn't deserve the throne.

Keep in mind my hatred of Dany doesn't really have anything to do with whether she would be a good Queen or not.

It mostly stems from her segments of the series being a total bore after season 1 (though that has changed recently)

She has been hyped as this savior since the beginning but her parts of the show have been among the weakest. It all just feels unearned. Things are picking up though so maybe she'll win me over

Fuck the look of disgust on Yara's face after he jumps. I live for those moments in GoT.

She did SO much for him and when she needed him the most, he literally ran away. He couldn't even look badass when jumping.

WHY REEK

Who?

How?

They're vikings. They do viking things with their ships. People get raided by them because they have no naval projection capabilities. Their very way of life is predicated on the fact that they have a TREMENDOUS navy and no one else around does.

Well, maybe they pillaged to get the supplies to build ships, because when Euron ordered ships to be built they did a really wide shot showing not a single tree on the majority of the Iron Islands.

Yara offers to bring Theon home, he tells her to leave.

Yara rescues Theon, gets fucked by Ramsay.

Yara lets Theon into her service, he abandons her.

At some point you gotta think that he doesn't really care about you.

She even let him fingerbang her when he was horny, now that's love if I ever saw it.

That's what I mean - thus far, she's practically been given everything she needed to raise an army and to cross the sea. She was even given her dragons. She even waltzed into Dragonstone uninterrupted.

None of it feels earned yet.

Well, Theon is officially the most useless character in the show lmao.

I'm sure he'll sneak aboard Euron's ship and redeem himself, but not before his sister and Queen Martell get raped first.

Great job kid.

Also why is everyone a rapist in Westeros ffs.

I have a strong feeling we are going to get a Yara and Reek behind the barn moment where Yara "takes care" of Reek for his own good.

Everyone up and down the coast must be lumberjacks and carpenters then. This was some height-of-the-British-Empire level logistics.

I look forward to when Varys and Jon Snow meet.

Varys is the only person who knows that Littlefinger betrayed Ned Stark and contributed to his death. If I remember correctly, Varys was the last person who spoke to Ned Stark before he was beheaded.

I kind of cared for their sisterly relationship with each other as they're all from different mothers and put together to be assassin team thing.

"Come sisters, let us see who can sneer and narrow her eyes the hardest!"

My biggest disappointment with this episode is that one of them lived to overact another day.

So....

-Ellaria Captured
-Yara Captured

And from what I can tell, Tarly seems to be taking the army and essentially pulling a military coup on Olenna.

Daenerys doesn't really seem to have allies in Westeros anymore.

Theon is basically dead. He has no purpose anymore. Dany is kind of a cruel person and will likely kill him if he comes back after abandoning the crew. Jon Snow probably would also kill him.

Edit: Sansa would pobably let him live.

Oft hope is born when all is forlorn.
Why are people mad at Reek? If I was Yara, I would have want him to escape too. What could he have done anyways? Get himself killed?

I have a bad feeling one of Dany's dragons will get murdered by Cersei's super crossbow machine or whatever it's called.

I don't necessarily think Danaerys is the best choice for the Iron Throne, but she'd be worlds better than Baelish who is by far one of the most dangerous players left in the game. Danaerys is willing to take the throne without destroying the entire continent, whereas Baelish would be happy to sit atop a mountain of blood and ash.

What if Cersei doesn't kill Ellaria?

What if she offers to spare Tyene's life in exchange for loyalty and manages to turn Dorne against Dany?

Everyone is expecting Cersei to just poison Tyene right in front of her mom to watch her die, but what Cersei does a complete 180 and not only spares her life, but offers The Mountain's life in exchange for Dorne's loyalty. Or some other crazy shit like that?

This show almost never does what you expect it to do. It would not shock me if she spares their lives in exchange for their army.

Feels like she's gonna be forced to go straight into King's Landing but a lot of people are gonna die. A lot.
