I sculpt and paint occasionally on commission. -.- not worth the amount of time i sink in for the money though.
I'm thinking of becoming a teacher. I'm almost 30 and don't really have s career just a job that I don't enjoy and pays the bills.I'm a teacher most of the year and an artist during summer. Art/animation used to be my main income, but found freelancing too stressful. Changed career, teaching is alright, summer gives me time to do art.
I just finished replying to everyone, both those that asked me to message them in this thread and to those that sent me a PM.

Yeah you got me fairly interested if you are not tired of messaging everyone already I would like to know as well. I use to do a bit of selling on ebay, amazon when I first got out of high school, but it was mostly just video games I seen on sale then sold them on for like a 7-10$ profit once the sale ended to fund buying more games lol.

Work a full time office salary job. As well as a minimum wage part time gig in the evenings.
Rent and student loans are no joke, and if I hear millennials are lazy one more time I might lose it.
I looked into doing online transcribing as a means to make extra money for my student loans, but I ultimately decided that I'd rather be playing video games in my spare time.
It seemed like a pretty decent gig if you really need the money, though. You only make minimum wage level money (and probably less than that), but you can work whenever and wherever you want, and you don't have to deal with other people at all. Plus, it seemed really easy, albeit dull. You just listen to a recording and type out what you hear.

Everytime I think of doing a side gig, I'm reminded that there's always overtime, and it will always pay better than any of them.

Well, there is the "Free Portrait Thread" which gets you noticed/makes you create tons of examples, and plenty of people seem to ask for/want portraits. I've posted mine from there on my twitter and in my art junk folder on FB for fun and it's gotten me a couple of random commissions. If it's just casual, your friend could simply build up a highly visible portfolio and people tend to ask. Sorry not to have a specific site to recommend, but that's how I get mine.

Huh I always thought those people were like super trained and had to audition.
It's legal in New Jersey.I wish it were legal to play poker online. Playing tight, online, given you have the time, it's hard to straight up lose your money. Let someone else play loose because they don't want to sit at the table and you can be okay.
The only real option now is the casino but everyone thinks they are in the fucking WSOP wearing headphones and sunglasses and shit. Corny, but I wish online poker was regulated and available.

I help DJ weddings and banquets. Very fun, as long as there are no crazy parents or serial terrible song requesters.
The latter is actually worse. Usually drunk off their ass guests. They almost always pick some garbage song that kills any dancing going on. After one horrible song we usually say we will play it later, there are other requests already, then never play it.
