Thanks PSN: Riddler

Lol. Didn't occur to me to try your GAF name. Sent.

Dojo research is funded.

Didn't take too long to get the parts for Harrow. One long defection run on Saturn for the Systems, 5 minute infested fissure survival (with Nekros) for the chassis, and maybe 9-10 kuva spy missions for the nueroptics.

The quest was pretty decent up until the end where it got a bit frustrating for me.

Got tired of the
ghostbusting
part of the quest and then
the operator part of the final fight because operator controls are garbage
.

Took about 7 kuva spy and 1 fissure to get those parts.

I've done 24 defections though and (so 8 drop possibilities) and haven't gotten it yet.

Opened up Saturn and I finally was getting these mats I needed for the incubator. Got the 4,500 I needed only to remember I also need an Argon Crystal. Was ready to slam my head against my desk only to see I still had one. Don't remember how I got it yesterday but doesn't matter. I finally can craft this stupid incubator after nearly two weeks of putting off the quest.

That Archwing Pursuit mission on Saturn was hell. Those shield generators are so small and only noticed them because this YouTube vid pointed it. Yeah, I looked up a vid after failing the mission with randoms roughly 10 times. I just wanted to know what the heck I was doing wrong.

Oh crap. One of Harrows parts is behind a Kuva spy mission? Really tempted to just buy him then. Conveniently, the game gave me a 50% off login voucher today as well.

Quest has been good so far though. I guess it says something that they're able to create some tension when you're playing as a super powered space ninja who can nuke a screen with the press of a button

If you do buy harrow make sure you do it before finishing the quest so you can get the riven reward. I just did it on Loki though.

And speaking of Loki, since starting doing Sorties last week I've found just how powerful his invisibility is. I have such an easier time soloing with him than PUGing with randos. Today's sortie was a breeze.

Kava spy isn't really that bad. There are only 3 room variants, and two of them take maybe 20-25 seconds each. The third is time consuming but pretty low risk.

FWIW, if you buy Harrow before you do the quest, you supposedly get a melee riven at the end, which you can surely sell for the cost off buying Harrow with 50% off.

Man, I dig Warframe but DE has to figure out some much, much better quest design, especially their finales. Almost all of the quests end with some cheap trial and error boss scenario. I just don't get what they're thinking.

And you couldn't pay me to replay this Harrow quest - why would anybody?

I got the blueprint for Harrow, but will save that scavenger hunt for another day.

Hmmm, that's a good idea. I'm mid ghost-busting at the moment so I've still got time. Just not a fan of spy stuff, particuarly if I have to grind em. One hear or there for an alert or something is bareable, but that's about it.

Speaking of veiled Rivens, I just realised I've got a shotgun one lying around from a sortie a while back. They're pretty sort after right? How much should I be looking to get?

That really depends on what it is. Dunno what the avg is for unveiled ones. Got a pistol one today. Get 32 finishers with no alarms.

Pistol and rifle rivens go for about 30 veiled.

The last veiled shotgun I sold was for 180.

Right now, I'm sure you could get 200+ for a melee riven.

So picked up Harrow for 113p with a voucher, did the quest and flipped the Riven for 145. Winner, winner, chicken dinner. I guess I could of got more, but didn't want to dick around too much

Got him to 30 and he's pretty good too. I think I prefer his support style to Trinity. Makes you stay aggressive and a bit more active

Nice. I'm a bit pissed off that I got a 75% off last Wednesday and was hoping to use it on Harrow until I learned they put expiration dates on them. So I ended up wasting it on a syandana.

Ok, so I wanted to ask, is there any calculator or table where I can find out how many maxed pieces of equipment it takes to reach __MR? I want to plan it out.

Frames and companions are worth 200 per level or 6000 total. Weapons are worth 100 per level or 3000 total. No need to do much planning as no XP is ever wasted. Just accumulate as efficiently as possible and always have stuff building.

If you want to plan, focus on those weapons that use other weapons as components.

Just started playing this one, if possible please could I get a clan invite?

Anyone have advice on getting tygris p and euphora p? I still don't quite understand mesa, etc. I just know I put in a relic and goodies come out. How do I increase my chances? Same relic? Any part particularly difficult to get, etc.

Want them for fashionframe reasons lol.

Does that include forma weapons, new exp bar? I refrained from formaing weapons and continually switching out. Have I been torturing myself?

Does riven mods modify Mesas peacekeepers?

I miss the days when gaf clan had someone one no matter the time of day. I hardly see anyone on now.

As a (new) returning player should I just focus on completing as many quests as fast as possible

Focus on working your way through the planet nodes and completing the junction requirements. Finish quests as needed if junctions require them.

Get planet mission nodes unlocked and completed so that you have access to good missions (defenses, excavations and interceptions mainly) for farming relics/mods/endo and leveling up gear.

Keep excavators going on planets you've fully finished for extra resources; you don't get a lot from them, but every bit helps. Also, take your time on some missions. They added resources caches to planets some time ago, and it makes farming neurodes/orokin cells/neural sensors much easier than it used to be.

Ask for help in clan/alliance chat if you're stuck on a hard mission.

1. You can increase your chances of getting rare drops from relics by refining them with void traces at the relic refinement station on your ship. That shows you what's rare, uncommon and common for each relic. You can also see the odds increase for rares and uncommon the more void traces you put in to refining it

2. Forma'ing something will take the exact same amount of xp to re-level. It doesn't add more mastery rank though. Don't worry too much about forma'ing stuff until a little later, when you're running higher tier missions and need to squeeze some more damage out of your favorite gun or frame. I'm nearly MR18 and have used about 4 or 5 forma across the whole game so far. I'm sitting on a pretty large stockpile now too.

3. And no for Rivens on Mesa's peacekeeper. Its an exalted weapon, and weapon specific mods (which rivens are) don't affect them

Cool thanks. Didn't know what void traces were for. Is there a specific action requirement me necessary to do that? I still haven't done war within and many others. I dropped out during Kubro update at which point I had all frames/primes till then. Now I'm playing catch up.

I was under the impression that Mesas peacekeepers were affected by pistol mods was that reworked?

Also any tips for orikin cells. Need tons and watched videos but they're pretty outdated.

Over 120 squads rescued and still haven't gotten this Harrow piece. I'm really getting sick of how they handle new frames putting their pieces behind tedious unfun mission types.

Don't even know why they added defection. Since they removed mutagen from it there's no reason to ever do it outside this part.

Sounds like you need to do the Mars junction requirements on Earth. That will give you a void relic segment which gets installed just to the left of your arsenal as you walk out of it.

Peacekeeper does benefit from general secondary mods. Damage, multishot, elemental etc, but NOT mods for specific weapons. There are other examples of those in the game as well other then rivens, like syndicate weapon mods.

I just went through an Orokin cell shortage myself. I took Nekros to Helene (defense map on saturn) for a few hours and sorted that out. They're a bit shit in that Saturn is the furthest planet up the starchart where they drop. And you tend to need shedloads of em for a lot of the prime weapons

If you need help farming any hit me up if you see me on. Lox769 in game

Haha yeah. I alluded to that a few posts ago with the Octavia quest. The quest itself was good (as was Harrows) but then getting sent off to do unrelated grinds afterwards is a bit silly. I liked how they did the Inaros and Titania quests. Do quest, get stuff. Easy.

And I'm still trying to get Octavias helm from ODS so I feel your pain (even though I don't have to grind out Harrow). Prob had close to 10 runs through there now.

I like how they took it a step further in making Defection absolutely asinine by not only removing the only useful drop but also making it so RV invades and drops nothing of worth. Like did you really need to waste your own time implementing that?

This is why I don't understand having the Harrow quest replayable either. There's no good drops. That breaks rule #1 in loot games.

Spoilers after playing the chains of Harrow

The Man at the Wall, made the tenno parents to become insane to be killed by their own childen then he would act as a father figure for the tenno
. I guess he didnt take in consideration the oroking saving the ship and use the tenno by their own means.

Harrow helmet farming is driving me insane

Hey why is there a lot of missions I shouldn't have access to (locked behind junctions) but do? Did I get "grandfathered" in? Like I'm trying to do some missions with my brother but he has to complete certain junctions that I haven't even started.

Also if there is still space can I get an invite to PSN: captainCAMACHO

Basically, yes. If you played missions prior to the latest star chart, and had already unlocked them then they will still be unlocked now but the junctions will be locked since they are a new addition to the star chart.

I have the same deal on my map - I have just about every node open and unlocked, but junctions that are still incomplete.

Does the percent off dailies work on bundles? Looking to get a tennogen bundle.

For bundles and Tennogen, no. Both of them won't accept discounts. Tennogen in particular, as those are made by members of the community, not by DE, so they need to get paid somehow for their work.

Thanks! By the way, how do I enter the dojo? I haven't played in a long time lol

*Edit* Just checked and I'm not in the clan, even though I'm sure I accepted the invite. :(

Demand for clan spots is super high right now. If you were offline for 10 days or more, depending on your mastery, it's entirely possible I kicked you. Apologies if that's the case. Will see if o can free up a spot in the morning.

As for the dojo, build your key and navigate there once we get you back in. :)

Edit. Sent. And I'm not sure why I kicked you if I did.
