Cersei currently has a woman prisoner in a cell watching her daughter starve to death. Cersei is on another level.

That woman murdered Cersei's daughter with poison. Granted we could do the whole she did this but she did this, but lets focus on Dany for a second.

"I'm not Queen Cersei. Now, bend the knee or get burned alive"

"Oh, thats your son? Naw, I won't put men in chains. Burn them both in front of their troops"

One is a short, slow death. The other is a fast but horrific fate.

This is the only episode that felt rushed, anyone else think that?
it was almost jarring

We had such dull moments the past 6 seasons, that those could've been rushed and episodes like this could've had better pacing.

But overall I'm happy with the pacing. It's better than a very little happens episode. I'm just sad it's almost over :(.

Arya getting played so hard. Littlefinger will run circles around her. Bran should probably let her know what's going on lol.

Hey Jon Snow, you know what might have been handy before setting off on your trip north of the Wall? Perhaps making a handful of dragonglass weapons, just in case shit pops off.

it's just in response to how the showrunners talked about it.
fuck that choice! cersei would probably have done the same thing!

why not just take them prisoner?!

They have negative value as prisoners. That's two extra people you have to carry around, feed, and keep guards on all the time. They made their allegiance clear. It wasn't going to change.

I can't wait until thae fanart of the GoT avengers

They're more like the GoT Mystery Men.

Let's see what we got:
Non-Stark
Captain Friend Zone
The Bastard Everyone Forgets
Bear Husbando
The Fire Priest Wot Doesn't Have the Knockers
The Smaller Giant Brother

They couldn't get the Onion Knight on board. I assume Bran will join at some point because he's just too pathetic to miss out on being a part of the inaugural mission of The C-Team.

Dany looked so worried when Jon said he was gonna go across to capture a White Walker. Anyone denying this Jon and Dany ship better get on the boat before we leave ya.

I think people want Dany to be a protagonist, we want to root for her. At least I do. And I would love it if she actually followed through on her shit. "I'm different". No, your fucking not.

So because of this I'm gonna disagree with the showrunners. People don't want to see Dany become Cersei or her father. They want to see her as the Queen she describes herself as.

Everyone's gonna think that shit was crazy. Or atleast 90-10.

Yeah i've lost a lot of respect for the character in these past two episodes. She's no different than any other ruler trying to obtain power. Fuck her.

She's just a kid.
Bran is gonna wait for Arya to get stabbed and then tell everyone "I saw it coming. I knew it would happen."

Oft hope is born when all is forlorn.

So Davos didn't go with them.

So can someone explain to me why he went to East Watch if he's not going to go beyond the wall?

Jon is legit, I can't believe it.
This actually makes me think he'll never inherit the kingdoms after all.
He'll "know nothing" by not knowing what he's worth. By continuing to be Eddard's bastard and not the Targ king he was born to be. This war will be the end of him.

He's the Prince that was Promised. A Song of Ice and Fire.

Some things felt off for me this episode. Littlefinger seemingly looking like he knew Arya was following him, hard to buy. One was trained by the greatest assassin in the world the other owned a brothel...

Also Dany non reaction to Jon Snow caressing Drogon and not getting his hand eaten. Even for Dany it took awhile to tame Drogon but she shrugged it off like it was something normal, I expected more of a reaction.

Jon took Jorah's sword. Next Dany will marry Jon. Then Jon fan #1 Lyanna Mormont will retain control of her house.

Jorah gets nothing.

On the other hand, if Sam's relation to Jon is established (would have a taken a couple of weeks to get to Eastwatch, lots of time to chat...) then Jorah could just as easily see that Jon is basically the reason he's alive and had another chance to see Dany again.

As for the Tarly's, I'm expecting Sam to have his vows annulled by Dany and made Lord of their house again. For all the discussion of whether or not it was a good idea for Dany to burn them, worth pointing out that Tyrion and Varys most definitely did *not* think it was a good idea. Not a fatal one (as the Tarly's did betray their own liege), but one that needs to not happen in the future.

Oh shit, I just realized...

So next ep, the Dream Team will be slaughtering the Walkers. But then it gets too overwhelming. Jorah dies. Tormund is killed. They're surrounded, with no options left.
