I won't lie, I went "u wot?" as soon as I heard their plan. I know desperate times call for desperate measures but I'll be surprised if not many of 'em die.

Ramin Djawadi is such a great composer but I think he really fucked up this episode by not having Guile's theme during the ending.

For sure which makes me think the Walkers have some sort of defense against Dragons. Because otherwise everyone in the South doesn't really need to sweat or worry the Dragons would torch everything and be done with it.

The WW must have something up their sleave

It feels pretty obvious to me. But I'll laugh if they go through all that trouble and by the time they get him to KL he's too far from the Night King's magic that he just dies and rots.

Yeah, that makes sense but the opposite can be argued too. Everyone advised Robb Stark to take the Karstark asshole prisoner instead of kill him. I wanted him killed then too so looking back that does make me sound like a hypocrite.

I remember the defense for Cersei alright, and I will continue to disagree that she did it for her family because she didn't. She did it for power. I'm not denying the fact that she loved her children but she still loved power more than them.

As for GRRM saying all the characters are morally grey that's fair he's the genius behind it al, but I have to ask myself, would Jon have done the same thing? I don't think he would have. I'm saying this with the mindset that ice and fire = Jon and Dany. After Cersei, they're the 2 most powerful people on the show. If Jon was there with her and he told her not to do it I think she would listen. Notwithstanding the fact that Jon would be aware that the victims would be Sam's family.

That's the only logical reason I can think of as to what would make them negative value. But I am absolutely sure that when Dany decided to roast them, she wasn't thinking "they'll slow me down and cost me more", I think she was thinking "lemme make an example of these two in front of the crowd for the next person who tries to defy and I'll remind them, look what I did to the last one"

My thoughts as well, don't see what else he has to offer to the story after this. The visit to the barn earlier in the season where the people starved to death seems like it's just foreshadowing the Hound trying to redeem himself in a substantial way. Especially considering how much they focused on his remorse about the whole thing.

In my opinion, she did plenty wrong by burning them alive and no one can convince me otherwise. But I liked Dickon so I'm a bit pissed off, lol.
Soured my opinion of Daenerys, though I guess that was the point.

Also Dany non reaction to Jon Snow caressing Drogon and not getting his hand eaten. Even for Dany it took awhile to tame Drogon but she shrugged it off like it was something normal, I expected more of a reaction.

Littlefinger has been doing this shit for longer than Arya has been alive, and she never really became a faceless man - she's still Arya, and her judgement is clouded by that. Him apparently getting the upper hand on her for now is far more realistic to me. That being said, she may figure out his game.

As for Dany, I felt she did react somewhat - the camera was there to show she couldn't quite see what was going on, so she didn't get the full interaction, but she definitely had a bit of a look on her face, and when she sent him off there was a bit of tension in the air... She has switched to believing him completely now. Drogon letting him caress him had to play into that.

I'm gonna have to see the receipts on that one. Like another user mentioned recently, she was a horrible "Faceless Man" and her only really impressive achievement was the scene at the feast. She got stabbed by the Waif for being a dumbass.

If she was doing what Cersei would have, there would have been no offer, and every single one of those soldiers would have been killed. I'm thinking 2 traitorous lords executed while sparing hundreds of fighting men, is a helluva difference between killing every single one of them.

I mean you can put whatever thoughts in her head you want. The point is, it is a legitimate debate that can be had. That's all that the writers were saying and I think they were correct.

Gilly was reading a passage that stated that Rhaegar annulled his first marriage and got legitimately remarried. Sam bailed on the conversation before she could reveal to who, but you could put two and two together.

Essentially that means Jon is his legitimate son, and would put him ahead of Dany for succession for the throne.

Night King is a one scary looking fucker. In that preview he looks even more menacing than he was in Hardhome. I hope they give him more backstory.

Oh and my only complaint about this episode;
Jaime and Tyrion meeting was dissapointing. Jaime just let him go off-screen? Nah. I would love to see more.
And do you know what's even more dissapointing?
Bronn and Tyrion not having any dialogue. Seriously?

Seriously, killing people because they try and kill you, even after you told them you would forgive them if they bend the knee, is maybe the most normal Game of Thrones thing ever.

Most people would've just killed them right away, at least she gave them a choice.
