Dany dd nothing wrong.

She gave them a choice and he chose to serve Cersei, even when Olenna was still alive.

Randyll and Dickon were traitors.

Generally speaking, it's not good strategy to kill your prisoners since it just makes your enemy more likely to fight to the death and thus cost you more men. You can bet Cersei is spewing out loads of propaganda about the murder of the Tarley men while leaving out the bend the knee offer.

Littlefinger has been doing this shit for longer than Arya has been alive, and she never really became a faceless man - she's still Arya, and her judgement is clouded by that. Him apparently getting the upper hand on her for now is far more realistic to me. That being said, she may figure out his game.

I just can't buy it.

Arya grew up in Winterfell. She knew it better than anyone except Bran because he was always climbing things.

She could have easily turned into a faceless man and eavesdropped, could've become a forger, sweeper, etc.

Instead I guess she didn't hide in the corner well enough and LF saw? Oh... okay.

Er...I think (and hope) you mean Drogon. Because Drogo is ashes, and also that would be wrong.

Lmaooo. Your right.

So uhh, is Greyworm just stuck in Casterly Rock with Euron twiddling his thumbs outside?

Also, not that she's a pivotal character or anything, but where was Missandei this episode? No where to be seen as far as I could see.

Pacing this season is so strange. Euron teleporting all over the place in the first three episodes and now no where to be seen nor mentioned either.

Giant bows and winter storms will make it hard for the dragons if they fight the AOTD.

Arya getting played so hard. Littlefinger will run circles around her. Bran should probably let her know what's going on lol.

I have a feeling that's exactly what's gonna happen. And I have a feeling that LF is gonna get a nice close up view of that dagger one more time.

Ok - to be honest, that's what I am HOPING for - but I haven't a clue. Often in this show what I want to have happen, doesn't. I really want LF to die. Me wanting that practically assures it won't happen.

Regardless of the creepy hookup, Jon and Dany can't make it out of all of this alive. This is GoT, and one of them will have to die before the end.

I'm gonna have to see the receipts on that one. Like another user mentioned recently, she was a horrible "Faceless Man" and her only really impressive achievement was the scene at the feast. She got stabbed by the Waif for being a dumbass.

And then she defeated the Waif.

She's still young but she didn't survive this long by being stupid. She's learning as she goes.

HBO Now stuttered like crazy this time for me. Boooo....

Gendry picking up Rob's hammer was pretty cool, only to have it front of Jon.

The same weapon Robert used to kill Rhaegar

That wasn't Robert's hammer. He'd have no way to gain access to that. It must have been one he made himself.

Seriously, killing people because they try and kill you, even after you told them you would forgive them if they bend the knee, is maybe the most normal Game of Thrones thing ever.

Most people would've just killed them right away, at least she gave them a choice.

Yeah, she basically said "look, if you agree not to try and kill me anymore, we're cool!" And they said "Never!"

So she did what she had to do.

We've officially reached the point of TWD writing in this show.

But I can't lie game of thrones avengers is something that has me excited.

I'm gonna guess where this is going. Thoros and Beric die, but the mission succeeds. Mormont and Hound take it to kings landing. Present it to Cersei. It then takes over zombie mountain, chaos happens. Then Cleganeeeeeeewbowll

they brought zombies back before. Jon brought it up this episode

(the one who tried to kill Mormont)

I'm a little confused over how this works, honestly.

So we know The Wall has magic that blocks the White Walkers, we saw this when Wights broke apart when they chased Bran into the tree back in season 4 and then when Night King and the White Walkers couldn't walk in it until Bran broke the seal.

But then you have that Wight that was able to be brought back over The Wall and came back, so, I dunno.

Sam better read the rest of that sentence and discover that Jon is a legitimate Targaryen.

Sam's done caring about the achievements of better men.

Bran'll have to fill in.

I'm a little confused over how this works, honestly.

That wight was activated North of the wall before he was let in. He woke during the same night he was brought into Castle Black and went to kill the LC, the hand they took to KL must've rotted.

I honestly don't see the point in bringing a wight, they might as well bring a White Walker instead, at least they won't rot.

I remember the defense for Cersei alright, and I will continue to disagree that she did it for her family because she didn't. She did it for power. I'm not denying the fact that she loved her children but she still loved power more than them.

As for GRRM saying all the characters are morally grey that's fair he's the genius behind it al, but I have to ask myself, would Jon have done the same thing? I don't think he would have. I'm saying this with the mindset that ice and fire = Jon and Dany. After Cersei, they're the 2 most powerful people on the show. If Jon was there with her and he told her not to do it I think she would listen. Notwithstanding the fact that Jon would be aware that the victims would be Sam's family.
"

There are so many amazing characters on this show, you need to not limit them to just Jon and Dany.

The two might have had the most screen time in total but the show isn't just about them and there is plenty that goes on, and has gone on without their knowledge, and will continue to do so even if they dude hitch up and rule together.

Jon has the best morals, Dany's at times are questionable.

I don't think Jon would have had them killed by fire, but I do think he would have had them killed.

Littlefinger thing was such bullshit. Why would Arya not wear someone else's face? Arya is a trained assasin but can't sneak around her childhood home better than LF? Fuck that.

So true, and it's bugging me a lot now. And it would have been even better if Littlefinger caught her with another face on and figured out her "secret" for additional leverage. Kinda fail on a couple levels.

I think people want Dany to be a protagonist, we want to root for her. At least I do. And I would love it if she actually followed through on her shit. "I'm different". No, your fucking not.

So because of this I'm gonna disagree with the showrunners. People don't want to see Dany become Cersei or her father. They want to see her as the Queen she describes herself as.

Everyone's gonna think that shit was crazy. Or atleast 90-10.

Eh, I mean stories where the protagonist rises from the ashes with uncompromising morals and ethics and despite the shitty world succeeds with friendship and love and rainbows is a dime a dozen. One of the things l have always liked about GoT and keeps me waiting for the books and watching every season is the nuance of the characters and the more realistic human approach they take to characters not being cookie cutter rigid characterizations. For the most part.

Maybe it's just a myth that the wall can truly block wights/others?

Well I'm just glad they brought it up at all. I was starting to think it was a huge hole in the show's logic that on the one hand there is a magic barrier keeping the undead out and literally the first season there is a wight at Castle Black.

Hello, my name is Yves Guillemot, Vivendi S.A.'s Employee of the Month!

How do you even outmaneuver Littlefinger. Dude's on his 48th playthrough of Civ 5 & he's playing on Prince difficulty. It's impossible without mods.

We do know they can exist beyond the wall if one awakens past the wall. We saw that happen with two.

Right, but that's different.

This time they are bringing in a wight, they can't kill it perm otherwise it will just be a pile of ashes or shattered remains.

They may or may not be able to bring it beyond the wall, since it has a magical barrier.

That dude that tried to kill Mormont turned AFTER being brought beyond the wall.

Not that I think this sub-plot with the Stark kids and Littlefinger is bad, but I really want it to be over just so I can see Arya kill this fucker. It's been 7 seasons, I want someone to murder that rat bastard already.

I'm gonna be so mad if he's able to outthink Arya and Sansa, especially when Bran could just tell them what's up.
