You can get a new S 1TB with a game on Amazon for £260, its way more than I thought.

My little lad is all over it tho but I'd rather get him a skin.

Priced high to undercut it for Black Friday, but $400 is still shitty. The original 2TB X1S with the stand was the same price.

Yeesh! I was thinking more like $249.99 or $299.99? Limited or not $100 more gets you a more powerful future proof console.

that's what the old minecraft white xb1s bundle was for

this one is for people too into minecraft willing to pay stupid amounts of money for minecraft themed stuff

I'm a PS fan sing PS One but screen printing is not a LE console. The LE PS4's have been mediocre. The Arkham Knight LE PS4 was my favorite and even that was screen printed. Might as well include a removable vinyl sticker in the box.

They failed big on the pricing. Should have been 500 GB and maybe $50 more than a normal console if they had to make it cost more. Ideally, this should have been like 279-299.

Somehow I don't think parents buying Minecraft consoles who don't have a console already aren't going to be jumping on one that costs twice as much as a normal Xbox One S.

Price is a massive failure for what should have been a holiday family bundle.

When the existing Minecraft bundle is going for $250, you don't make a second version a year later for $150 more.

Agreed. This console should be for younger kids and parents will be way less willing to get this console at that price point.

It's likely not mass produced for that purpose. The custom MS bundles are always more expensive. Did we already forget about gears or halo 5 bundles. Gears was $449 and the halo bundle was $499

Are Gears and Halo designed for families?

If a colorful, toy-like Minecraft bundle was not mass produced for families during a price-conscious shopping period, then who was it designed for?

I thought for sure this would be a cheap console focused on kids. $399 is absolutely the wrong pricepoint for it. Could have been huge at a lower price.

Absolutely horrendous price. Is Microsoft intentially trying to not move systems now? Ugh... maybe it's an attempt to get people to go for the higher priced one x. Or at least giving the appearance of some price parity.
