Game of Thrones *NO BOOK DISCUSSION* |OT2| Season 7 - [Read the OP]

Let's remember the original three eyed raven told Bran at the tree "You will never walk again... but you will fly"

Ok, that could easily imply

1) Warging into the ravens

2) A living dragon

If he had the ability to warg into the dead, then there would have been plenty of chances to do so.

Are some of these fan-theories from people that have read spoilers and just want to sneakily spoil the show to others?

I didn't know that a dragon was gonna get killed last night, but once it did, I wasn't surprised when he was turned at the end because people had been fan-theorizing about an undead dragon recently.

It kinda pissed me off.

He's going to walk in on Jon and Dany fucking in the tower and Jon's going to push him out of the window. As he flies out and falls to his death, the prophecy will be complete, and Jon will go "The things I do for love." Smash cut to series finale credits.

Convenient how this keeps happening whenever there are significant leaks about a season.

I knew they would take the Dragon as soon as it dropped in the water, couldn't even bbq it once that happened. Still don't see how a Zombie Dragon is meant to be a threat vs 2 living dragons, but I'm sure they will find a way.

It's literally people who read the leaked script.

Stop going online on youtube or reddit for "theories", it's all just spoilers.

That said, an undead dragon has been in the talks for years now, not exactly a shocking turn of events.

You're completely misunderstanding (or purposefully misrepresenting) my complaint; I never said they would need to do any extra scenes to set anything up, I merely posed a method by which existing scenes could have been written to make more sense and also probably execute much better on screen.

No, I was just trying to make a joke.

Lets face it, the true dance of dragons is all of us pretending we didn't read the full spoilers 6 months ago. We are almost there.

Have you SEEN how beautiful she was wearing that wedding dress?

Let's face it again. Bran is a young man with the power to see anything, anytime. It is the equivalent of playing FF15 and being able to travel anywhere and see a huge interesting world (well not really, but run with it) and then spending the whole time trying to look up that dude's sisters skirt.

I'd like to think him trying to master the three eyed bird stuff is basically trying to get the camera angles "just right" and being incredibly frustrated in the meantime.

He's going to walk in on Jon and Dany fucking in the tower and Jon's going to push him out of the window. As he flies out and falls to his death, the prophecy will be complete, and Jon will go "Only Cat" Smash cut to series finale credits.

Fixed. Best ending ever.

This. Those "predictions" are people who have read the leaked material and want to try to be edgy with their "predictions" by essentially spoiling.

Avoid "predictions" if you can.

im not 100% convinced there was a plan from the NK to get a dragon on his side but if he has somehow hacked Brans vision with his mark or something and knows whats coming picking a frozen lake to down a flying dragon over would ensure that nobody (other dragon) could spoil the corpse by burning it.

I hope after the series is over and they release a box set that they go back and replace season 1 Beric with the current one. Beric even mentioned the scene in the last episode but if you go back and watch it you see this dude.

I know the Mountain and Daario had different actors too but I think it would be rather easy to fix this since it's just one brief scene.

holy shit no wonder when ppl reference this and even last night when he did i could never picture it in my head.

had no idea they replaced the actor.

It sucks because I am sure some people really did legitimately predict the undead dragon so you can't even get mad at people since it is impossible to determine if they actually knew or not.

I predict that if the next episode isn't God tier, I'm going to have a very sour taste in my mouth for a possible year and half.

There is nothing gained by keeping such a plot point secret from the viewer.

If the Night King had the ability to see beyond the wall, or even more hijacked Brans abilities, we really should know about it in order to make sense of what just happened. Let alone the heaping amounts of dramatic irony.

It's a shame the series has come to this.

You would think thats its popularity would warrant a bigger budget and hence, more episodes.

Its rushed, and suffering for it.

This gets brought up almost every week now.

HBO wants MORE MORE MORE. They wanted 10 seasons, each with 10 eps, if possible.

The show runners have said they only had enough story for another 10-13 episodes and that is why we have this 7 ep season and next season is only 6 episodes.

Also, I only knew which Dragon out of the 3 was hit because I had the captions on. They never actually mention by name which dragon is hit right?

What an infuriatingly stupid episode this was. I lurk the shit outta this thread and thoroughly enjoy reading everyone's insight and much better understanding/recollection of the lore, but fuck me this last episode rubbed me the wrong way something fierce.

Good grief, just one forehead slappingly dumb decision after another this season, culminating in this totally predictable episode. If Dany and Jon had kissed, I was completely done, ready to turn the projector off and this show can kiss my arse. Blah.

Do we agree that Bran will need to Warg a dragon to make them truly effective?

I had no idea about the White Walker's Deus Machina Spear

Also, uh, this whole plan was stupid as fuck.

I think people were theorizing about Qyburn raising an undead dragon from the crypts below King's Landing.

The best part about this episode for me was the undead bear. That was pretty cool and unexpected, and we actually saw the hound of all people paralyzed with fear. The battle vs the undead was predictable, disorienting, and full of cheap moments.

Nah I just assume everybody is trying to be sly and failing. It fits in with how following this show has gone, just people dick waving their book knowledge have been replaced with dick waving about their leak knowledge.

An undead dragon shouldnt even be speculation in a fantasy story about undead and dragons.

HBO is developing 5 projects based on GoT
They are throwing money at this brand

Yeah, that raven was hella fast, but the one thing that bothered me was how little emotion Dany showed when one of her children got shot down. I would have figured she would be in complete scream mode, but her reaction was rather cold.

Yep, seemed pretty obvious to me that she had already read the spoilers.

I gotta call absolute bullshit on people predicting a zombie ice dragon in this (and previous threads). These and other 'predictions' which people seem to be treating as a given certainty (like the Jamie killing Cersei thing) are so dubious. Ah well, too late to complain I guess since it's been something everyone's been discussing for the past two seasons.

Everthing killed by WW's that isn't burned becomes a Zombie, soooo....

I mean, I feel like the scene with the Zombie Bears was specifically intended to remind us that any once-living thing can become a wight.

LOL.

Replace Bran with Jorah in this scene and it will be funnier. Poor friendzone guy.

The only emotion Emilia Clarke can really do is shouting.
