Laura is such a garbage nothing character.

The only thing she has going on is a terrible haircut and her tits hanging out.

Doesnt help that in the story she acted like she has a IQ of 10.

Yeah, Capcom's original design philosophy was ripping off 70's kung fu flicks and 80's manga. It was nice getting a character that, at least visually, looked like they were created by old Capcom.

She is but she's an OG, a fan favorite and the first UK character so she's always guaranteed a slot it seems.

FANG - one and done. Some might like his personality but many will be turned off by how low tier he is. Also don't see much story need for him anymore.

Laura - she might make it back due to fan service but I don't find anything attractive about her gameplay, physical, or personality wise.

Rashid - best of the initial batch by far. Very high chance to make it back.

Necalli - opposite of fang where he's strong gameplay wise but has a personality of a rock. What a huge disappointment in the story. Don't see him coming back for gameplay either since he's pretty boring.

Kolin - she seems to be quite popular and has an unique play style. If SFVI finally moves past III she would be important story wise.

Ed - once again unique PlayStyle but this time with his inputs. I can see capcom wanting to iterate on him in later game since he's lacking a bit in V. Also big story tease with him.

Abigail - very divisive of course but I really like the dude. He's the only big/grappler character I've enjoyed playing. I think the initial hate early on sours his chances even if it has eased up a bit lately.

Overall for chances imo:

Kolin > Ed > Rashid > Laura > FANG = Abigail = Necalli

Capcom side literally only has 2 new characters at launch. MvCI doesn't have Rashid because as much as I'm looking forward to it, the roster is dumpster fire.

He comes off as a goofy knob, he's not really sinister or threatening. His poison ability is inconsistent. It can sometimes kill but sometimes it doesn't. His proportions are odd, they could have made a much cooler looking take on this premise.

They are literally, perfect doll people with perfections real woman, and real woman who are "thick", don't have. They are idealized forms, meant to incite. They are created, she is a cartoon lady who is not real, with cartoon porpotions. That's kinda the whole point. The guys too, though you see more of them allowed to have to have imperfections and to be built around them from time to time, but mostly it applied to them too

By the time she came out some people were frustrated with how many sexy females and light skinned blue eyed blondes the game had. Cool (lol) fightstyle and I don't think she's actually hated, but her physical design is just so redundant at this point and there's not many pro players who use her to get people to care about her.
