I mean, it's hard not to notice it. Environment looks good, but the faces needs some work, which of course it's expected. The will work on that. It's just that right now, they really look off

what facial animations ? It seems very static to me.

WiP of course. Also, yes, the challenge to balance traditional old school character look and current gen scenery will be a tough one

Those faces, these animations, it's almost like they made it looks ridiculously awful on purpose.

Otherwise I liked the lighting.

It's a kickstarter game that's still a year+ off. Seems like they prioritized getting the graphics/art assets done first and then work on polishing the animations. That said, if a year later the animation and faces are still rough then that's a whole different story than clear WIP footage. We saw this happen with KOFXIV too.

6 million is a lot by Kickstarter standards but that's probably pretty modest by major game standards. Really important to keep that in mind.
