Yeah, I think I'm done with this Splatfest. 5 games in a row with my invisibility team winning until the last 5 seconds has me about ready to give it up

Yeah, 2p for a loss is the biggest Splatfest sin. Needs to be 4 or 5.

Edit: okay second biggest sin. No duo team option is the biggest.

I really like the Bubble Blower so far. I don't know how useful it will be once people get used to it but it's fun fighting someone around one and then blowing it up.

I'm done for today. Made Queen and won't be playing tomorrow with the Twin Peaks marathon. Checking my stats it was pretty even. 25 wins and 20 losses. Most of those were flight vs invisibility and a handful were flight vs flight.

I did well overall but managed to lose every single round on hump back pump track so sorry for that team flight. Generally was top of my team when we lost, so I guess I'm not great but a net help overall.

first session. making it to champion rank as we speak.
about 30 out of 50 for now

won first invis vs invis match. lost first two matches against flight.
after that a long string of mostly wins against flight

followed by a map change and three losses at Humpback Pump Track
My roller couldn't bring a victory there. taking a break now

I don't even think I'm going to make it to champion level this time around. I'm already super frustrated. Took a break because I kept getting teammates who were more interested in chasing opponents for splats and not helping cover the backline. Came back and ended up with a string of losses due to leavers. Had 7 losses in a row, 6 of them thanks to people leaving either during matchmaking or mid-match. Once it's 4v3, it's just a bloodbath.

E: At least as Team Flight I haven't had any flight/flight battles.

Only about an hour into this splatfest for me and I'm already 3 points away from Champion! I'm on Team Invisible and somehow going 11-3 against Flight

Heyo, finally have a Switch + Splatoon 2 and been enjoying myself.

Anyway, anybody have any tips for the umbrella weapon? I like it, but I'm mostly just shooting it around like an uncharged squiffer. The only time I can get kills with this thing is when I catch the other player by surprise, otherwise the two shots needded for a kill are too slow and I just get splatted myself. I should probably be utilizing the shield function more, but in most situations I just stand there and they eventually pierce it or I try to get a shot in inbetween and still die in the moment my shield's down, lol.

Also this Splatfest was totally whack. Multiple matches where we were dominated the entire match only to slightly win in the end and multiple matches where we were dominating, but then everybody gets sloppy (including me) and we get overwhelmed in the last 30 seconds. Ahwell, got the max rank. Now back to waiting until Salmon Run's available again!

It's taking me more time to find matches than it is to play them. Matchmaking extremely unbalanced, wins are consistently 65%+ in one team's favor. This Splatfest is a disaster. Least fun the game has ever been.

I love how everyone is saying team flight is crushing them, yet it seems like all of the people I keep getting matched with on team flight just run into the walls. Seriously, these people are terrible.

It's the matchmaking. I just came off of two huge victories, after losing huge losses.

And then all the communication errors. This has been the worst weekend ever for the franchise, imo.

For the Umbrella I suggest using ink saver main to fight longer and shield too. also don't be afraid to shield bash folks, it does a considerable amount of damage to enemy inklings.

Seems I'm fated to never to get to 2000 power. Every time I get close, I lose a game and lose a bunch a points. The most frustrating part is my team was winning and suddenly we lost it at the last 30 seconds.

Im not gonna let the tickrate and bucket shit go everytime i get back into this game.

Its so obnoxious to get hit and die so quick that you cant even react cause the server already says you died. Combine that with long range weapons.

The points for winning are based off of the percentage of the stage your team inked. So if you won with 40-49% you get 4 points and so on

Not being able to tell which fest team your friends is on is annoying.

And needing two extra people to play in splatfest is still bogus.
