Never thought I'd see everything this deep in the red! Trying not to think about all the money I could have spared on ETH and LTC by buying now instead of two weeks ago.

Here is one of the interviews that Arcane Bear did with the CEO of Blackmoon. They have a very solid project here with what they want to do and the reason why price came up here was due to the team wanting to regulate any kind of pumping and dumping with the coin as much as they can. Which some may look at as a good thing and others as a bad.

Yeah, this is similar to the boodbath in July which I think was even worse where coins were at even 50% off the MSRP.
I saw that dead cat bounce last night at 12 forming as I was debating on buying some ARK, but glad I waited till this morning to load up. Back in on ARK.criesofthepast

Just keep in the back of your mind if buying at these (what may seem like bargain) prices that this whole thing has exploded the past few months for no real reason and off no real big news. The market is due for a big crash and correction. There were so many people who bought litecoin when it hit $50 years ago and it tanked and went back to around $1. Those people were left holding the bag for over 3 years. It can happen again.
It could very easily go back to sub $2000 per bitcoin. I don't buy the whole "we are too big to ever go below $1000 a coin again" talk that some people in the community have said. Expect the worst with Bitcoin. Just when things seem to be going good, the whales come out to fuck it all up.

I can't lie, a lot of Crypto youtubers were saying they expected a correction on bitcoin down to ~3400 - ~3800 back in August. Now, they did not predict China, but I'm not sure that matters. It hit $3816, that's pretty close so far. I wonder if it will dip a bit more this month before the end.
I'm somewhat mentally prepared for it. I would love a good buy in spot. Bad/mixed news from china + more barking from the SEC + more correction from the highs of August + Bitconnect going belly up (I believe its an unsustainable ponzi that is a ticking time bomb and will have to explode eventually) could happen in a short span of time and cause a ton of fear and selloff.

It's going back down again, it looks like BTC back at 3850. Hoping ARK drops even lower than what I bought this morning, I'd like to add some more.
I agree Cipherr, many youtubers since last month have been predicting that BTC will come back down to the $3-$3500K range, so that shouldn't be a surprise unless people don't follow anyone on YT that covers crypto.
This is a good buying time.
PAY is killing my portfolio, there has been so many times I wanted to dump this but I believe once the CC releases in other countries this will take off.

I have been a bag holder. It sucks. Just make sure you put money into this that you are willing to stick it out with for the potentially long ass haul of a few years.
In the end I do not believe anyone who buys under $10,000 per bitcoin will lose money. You may have to wait a while until we get up there but it will happen.
PAY is getting hammered down for quite some time... even (shady) Monaco is handling better and there are some strong rumors that MCO will finally get Visa approval in the end of this month.

It sucks, it's been slowly hemorrhaging for the last month and then a week or so ago it had the big pump and dump.
MCO is a real POS from what I've read, sucks to see bad coins get the recognition over good ones like PAY. At this point I'll just keep holding, no need to lose half of my money.....it'll go back up again at some point hopefully. LOL!
Yeah agreed. Could be testing times ahead, especially with all the incoming drama in November too.
Bitcoin could easily drop to 3000 here. I don't think it will go sub that, but it's possible...

Yes, some crypto Youtubers were saying that BTC would go down to X, and others were saying the opposite and that it would climb to Y. It's extremely easy to find people who are making videos and creating blog posts who support nearly any position if you look hard enough. Crypto has been extremely unpredictable since the very beginning, and so many attempts at rational analysis just fall flat. Some turn out right, but most don't.
I think there is money to be made by trading on the wild swings, but that is not for my weak heart I will buy and hold with a timeline of 3-5 years in mind. Of course, if ARK suddenly goes up to $200, I'd probably cash out faster than I could type

Crap hahaha every time I buy crypto coins they straight away fall. If I jumped in now instead of last week I would have saved quite some dosh.
I really feel like buying more Ark now that it is so low. But the market seems so unpredictable I think I will hold and see how low it can go.

How many times a year do these "hard forks" occur? I'm reading that the last one happened not too long ago.
And what kind of effect have on different currencies? Totally lost here

So are you guys buying other currencies using bitcoin on bittrex or just straight USD > coin of choice? I just got some Bitcoin off the correction since it appears bittrex only takes Bitcoin for ark.
Based on historical movements, and some light TA, I think the market will see a bounce on Thursday or Friday, followed by resumed downward movement beyond where we are now. In ETH terms (USD), that means it's probably going to above 280 (maybe higher) by Friday, and will then start falling to around 240 (maybe lower) next week. I plan to trade this if it starts forming as predicted. Don't take this as a guarantee of what will happen though. You never know with crypto.
Not sure how often, but the last big one ended up being mostly a non-issue. My sense is that people are going into the November one with a lot more confidence. You might see people buying up Bitcoin in the leadup to it so that they can get in on whatever currency splits off from it (assuming a new currency is always born from a hard-fork?).
Right, buy with bitcoin. Keep in mind that you can buy LTC and then sell that for BTC on Bittrex and use that to buy ARK. You can save some money on fees.

Compared to the crash in July, this seems to keep recovering very quickly today and the last 2 weeks has been the same. I wonder if come this weekend we will see a larger drop in the market.
Getting the same vibe of that happening as well....
I dunno what's going on, but I was able to scoop up some more ARK below $3 so I can't complain.
