Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Releases December 1st 2017

This looks amazing, I don't get the fuss. The faces aren't creepy to me (Xenoblade X and the latest Star Ocean were, just for a frame of references) and the overall presentation seems like exactly what it's being billed as - a follow up to XBC.

Finally went back & watched the full video segment this morning and I gotta say, I'm still pretty hyped for the game. The narrator/Azurda's voice grew on me & love how they've begun to truly detail the setting with the various factions and of course various locales. Still feel the more traditional anime look for the characters in this game is a bit of stepdown, but I still can't wait to play it.

The core crystal stuff looks like it'll be "fun". Can't wait for the GameFAQs guides that'll be instructing you on which areas around the game world are more likely to drop the super rare & badass Blade support character you've been seeing all over YouTube.

Anyone else reminded of some (unintentional or not) One Piece influence? I can't pinpoint it exactly but it's pretty different from the usual Takahashi game in terms of feel.

Finally a xenoblade 2 trailer that i liked.
A few too many qte's but idc fucking bring it that looked glorious. Anyone know all the weapon types we get?
Theres lance, melee, sword, gun?, soccerball?, axe so far. Dual blades on the partner girl.
Speaking of which I hope theres not just 3 in total.and dear god show me costume changes please.
Can stand those stupid pants

Does armour appearance not change this time? The reason I wasn't too bothered about the main character's outfit is I assumed you could change it.. It's worse than Tidus honestly

So you can only control the drive characters and the other ones just stand behind you except for specials? That kind of sucks.

Am I tripping or does it look like the EU version gets the steelbook case and the standard case, while the US version just gets the steelbook case?

Ya know, I'm not sure now that you say that. The standard case IS in the picture for the EU version with the Steelbook shown separately. Perhaps it's a slipover?

Nintendo always bundle the regular case and the steelbook with their EU limited editions

The controller looks awesome but I'm not sure about getting it for the general Xenoblade franchise as opposed to XB2 specifically.

Agree with all of this. Will eventually get XC2 for the gameplay alone, because everything else about this game just rubs me the wrong way.

Did the Fire Emblem Echoes LE have a hang tab? I know it got a lot of complaints about being too big, so I'd be rather amused if NoE thought that it was going to hang on anything.

I must be the only one who actually likes it. Seems OK to me considering the other games' UI and the amount of information you need to have at all times. Maybe an option to scale it would be nice but the UI itself layout and looks-wise seems to fit the mechanics well.

Also I want that CE. Come on Amazon NA...

Got one with my new GCU membership. That thing is boss.

20% off Fire Emblem Warriors SE, XBC2 SE, Ni no Kuni II, and Dissidia NT. Damn things already payed for itself almost twice and this lasts for 2 years? Not sure why I didn't do this sooner.

the biggest mistake for this game is that Takahashi hired Saito when he really shouldn't. His character designs are a giant distraction when the models have actually improved considerably compared to X. Takahashi should just have just stuck with Tanaka who would have done a much better job with the anatomy and design sensibilities but nope, he watched that animu movie and randomly decided Saito was perfect for the job.

Tanaka has had two opportunities translating his art style to CGI(Xenosaga 1, Xenoblade X) and both were a failure.

That's cool. Wish they did the same for US versions. I'd like the option of having the standard case for storing the game and the steelbook for display purposes. Oh well!

Cases are cheap and you can print the cover. I do that for all games that come without proper case. :p
