I mean that hasn't stopped you before in other threads, why hesitate to post in a thread thats atleast not about salty console wars?
Anyway, i dont fully understand these pokemon.
Are they randomly generated or do they have preset moves? If its a crystal gacha thing, why would they limit the monado? to one of these?
I hope theres atleast unique ultimate versions of our pokemon.

Edit: Snark aside, I find the mixed opinions on this game fairly interesting. I'm on the fence regarding art style, but really if the core experience is anything close to the original, it matters so little to me. The worry about the randomness of blades though, i didn't pick on and yeah, curious about that being annoying in the end.

Holy wow - just watched the Direct segment. Game looks AMAZING! Cannot wait!
Cant wait for this game. I really wish Mario Odyssey was getting the Pro controller treatment because I don't very much like the look of this one.
I'm very excited about this game but the framerate looks a little rough, but the last Xenoblade games looked rough in streams and played perfectly fine so I'm not too worried about it.

Completetly agreed. This guy's character designs are so fucking garbage.
The difference is, both those games used realistic graphical styles which looks horrible with anime designs. The models that 2 uses would be a lot more suited for Tanaka's art than X or Xenosaga ever were.

I'm off a similar mind set. I absolutely LOVE the environments and exploration, I'm sure, will be as great as always.
I love some of the characters I like (what appear to be mainly the baddies, Rex and Pyra and maybe a couple of others... not a fan of Nopon or the cat kid dude or a couple others).
I think the music will be great (even though I have yet to hear a song to me that really stands out) and story will be yet to be determined. Voices... well, RIP. I prefer X's voices.
Still curious if you can customize the look of Rex's gear or not (or anyone else for that matter).
GCU is life.

I am among the minority who like the art style... although I do agree that Pyra's pant is weird.
I am conflicted on whether to get the Japanese digital version + CE without the game cart from My Nintendo Store or stick with the whole package or import from some European store. Also wish that the entire Pro Controller (with fixed d-pad?) was in standard red color rather than just the grip having this light-red pinkish color on it but eh...I already pre-ordered it so.

None of the character designs bother me much except Pyra. I think she looks awful. I really like nearly every other blade design they've shown though. The one they showed at E3... Fugor? with the beam cannon is my favorite of the bunch so far.
Overall I like these character designs a hell of a lot more than XCX's, but they're not as good as XC1. Way better than most of the trash SE puts out these days though.

I use it the same way i use en, eu, ger, fr, it, etc. I didn't know it was offensive at all in english but good to know. Thanks.

I played xeno 1 and xeno x with japanese dub and i would like to play this one the same way. Loved the original dub work.

So far, I like probably about 4 characters. I like a lot more in X.
Lao, Elma, Irina Celica, L, Gwin, Frye, H.B., Nagi and especially on the baddy side there were more I liked. Goetia, Ga Buidhe, Ryyz... as it stands right now, X has more characters I enjoy than 2 but that's just me.
In 2... I like Rex, Pyra, and, from what I can tell, the two characters designed by Nomura. White haired masked guy and black hair nameless dude.
My only experience with this series is about 30 minutes with the version of Chronicles on my old 3DS. I got bored AF so I bailed on the game, but I thought this presentation showed the game pretty well. Sure, pacing and stuff could be better but that's silly and doesn't have any effect on anything.

Why in the world would you select Amazon? They will ship it in a bubble mailer and the box will get crushed, guaranteed. Amazon shipped me 3 copies (2 were replacements) of Fire Emblem limited edition, all shipped in bubble mailer and all crushed, even though they assured me the two replacements would be shipped in a box... The size of Xenoblade 2 LE is a perfect fit for a bubble mailer and the box looks like thin cardboard so readily crushable..Preordered the SE, but I'm hoping to switch for Amazon by the time it comes out.
Also, I need to finish Chronicles on 3ds.
Pre-ordered... But I hope they adjust the prices.. :|
