I'm not a huge Krillin fan (I hate him in an endearing way), but he's definitely going on my team in the full game. I had the most fun with him on the beta, and I'm looking forward to actually trying stuff out in training mode with him.

She probably could, if she wanted to.

But given how she and her bro have no shortage of devastating beam attacks of their own, I imagine it wasn't something she would have specifically requested.

to be fair, Krillin's finishing move is way more dangerous than the Kamehameha in most practical fighting situations

most DBZ fighters can't even really use full-powered beam attacks without almost killing themselves and everyone else lol

Ok this is the shit ive been waiting to see

Damage average for combos is significantly higher for people who do real combos

18+17's pressure looks extremely dangerous

Piccolo looks like he's gonna be that character you immediately snap in to kill

Trunks' neutral is STUPID good

easily the sexiest combo ive seen so far

Usually I blow off the idea of "Best footage" when I see it, but honestly, this was beautiful to watch.

Have to agree on the 18 pressure game since 17 can make things hell while that combo that blasted Trunks skyward so that 18 could use her Level 3 against him was crazy to watch.

Just makes me cross my fingers that we will hopefully get another Beta in the very near future.

The damage output so far looks pretty reasonable. You could increase it by several percent, but the reason fights are taking a bit of time is more due to how quickly health recovers when subbed out. Sparkling also heals a little too fast, which may drag the fight out for the duration. That being said, nothing major should be changed until there has been time for optimization.

ASW games always have had supers that did pretty poor damage as they mostly want to encourage meter use elsewhere. Blazblue was the first time where they tried to give supers an edge by providing respectable minimum damage output, and it has somewhat carried over to Xrd (most prominent with burst supers, which has a heavy cost to it). Just tagging a super at the end of a long combo is something that ASW has always seemed to discourage. Using meter to extend combos or to create a better mix-up opportunity is generally more valuable in their games. Also, a level 1, or even a level 3 super not doing much damage is actually not too strange considering you get anywhere from 15-20 bars per match if you didn't get ran over. Meter gain is this game is really really high.

Well the combo started with a crouching light so it's gonna scale pretty hard, unless you want to get destroyed for eating a fast low attack
