Oh God, so Harry is gonna write all the reviews now? His reviews are among the worst I've ever read. It was sort of cute 15 years ago, but he has shown zero willingness to improve on the most basic level. And he can be bought.

Yeah I had always thought Harry was happily married, but last time I frequented AICN was like maybe 10+ years ago. The Twitter DM screenshot was what really got me, since it was so recent and the language he used fell right in line with the way he wrote most of his review pieces. Also, the multiple accusations from others on Twitter. Just way too much evidence to ignore, and these are just the ones that have decided to put themselves out there.

Quint's been with him for 20 years, I refuse to believe he never once heard anything of Harry doing any of this. I'm not going to make up my mind because I don't know for sure either way, but if he knew and did nothing, I have no respect for him.

Sucks that yet another famous Internet nerd turned out to be a scumbag. Guess this one hits closer to home considering how much I used to visit that site when I was first really getting into movies.

Good on this dude. In so many industries, this is the truth. No fucking way those working with Knowles didn't have an inkling of this. Look at his reviews alone; they're disgusting. Everyone agrees nerd spaces have a huge harassment problem, especially in regards to women, but no, not their nerd spaces or friends. Easier to pretend and keep getting access to shit, and not deal with being uncomfortable or putting yourself out there.
Probably was, but what choice do they have? Speak up and get ostracized, criticized, questioned, threatened, told they're overreacting, told the sexism and misogyny they experience are "just jokes", being asked "Are you sure that's what happened?", etc etc etc. And if they don't speak up, but ignore the harasser? Well now they're missing out on exclusive events and stories that their male counterparts have access to.

In his defence, he also dropped hints about the intitial Knowles story, so him knowing of others isnt exactly implausible.

I was trying to write that post as non-backseat mod-y as possible and just give a heads up, but understood. Count's reason's for not sharing seem perfectly legit to me; I just wasn't sure if the hinting would get him banned. I'll refrain from that sort of post in the future.
