It is time they show some footage of the Original PS4/Xbone version.

As much as I understand their marketing ploy with Microsoft to promote the Xbox One X, their biggest fanbase is on the PS4 and Xbone.
Agreed.
Not buying an X1X until its £300 but already own a Pro and X1S so would like to see my options

Is it using the same engine as Syndicate?

That ran decent enough on a standard PS4. No tearing, but framerate did dip a few times in the more crowded area's and riding the horse and carriage.

Also confirmed..for the first time they're adding traditional difficulty settings.

First thing I'mma play is loads of UHD blu-rays while I wait a month for all the 4K patches to download.

The game releases the 27th. Pretty sure we’ll be able to download the 4K assets before Nov. 7th, and then transfer everything to an external or directly to the X once it launches.

Want to go as blind as possible so not watching footage or reading previews. Assassins Creed is a gaming tradition for me. But it seems its shaping up to be a good game.
I think I’ll do this too. I’m practically already going in blind as I wasn’t interested in the game until recently.
Yeah, I get it. But they really need to show how the PS4 version runs. I don't want to spend over $60 for a game that doesn't run well. I don't even have a Pro.
It’s about to be Unity all over again lol.

It's cool that ropes function as ziplines regardless of location but RIP hands, would be cool if he whipped out a tool like Aloy does in Horizon:

I wanna be more excited by this but so far the videos really are not selling me on the combat at all. Looks.. janky? I don't know how to describe it.

Damn, this is looking pretty good.... I'm still feeling burned from AC3 though... still on the 'wait and see' approach.

So judging from the previews there is a lot of open world bloat in the side missions... once again. Do they ever learn?

Gonna have to define bloat. Since the side missions all tell a mini story and reward the player with xp and loot how is that not serving a purpose?

If that is bloat then Witcher 3 also had tons of bloat.

Witcher 3's "bloat" was also accompanied with incredible world building and environmental storytelling that put it eons ahead of any current gen game. Obv can't comment on how well Origins does it since it's not out.

Yeah those monster nests, guarded treasures and monster infested villages told great story. Don't get me wrong i love Witcher 3, it is one of my favorite games but there was bloat there too.
