Lol stuck on character creator... so many shirts. So many hairstyles. Gonna go for this Riverside Farm thingie. Going for a cat too even though I do love dogs.

What a fantastic game. Bought it on PC quite awhile ago and stopped playing after about 30 mins when I realized it would have to be coming out on a portable eventually. Was totally worth the wait to have this on the Switch and not be tethered to a tv/monitor, and i'm totally happy having given the developer more money by double dipping.

Picked it up today, and this is my first time playing. I have no clue what I'm doing. I find myself running out of energy rather quickly every day, and food is too expensive to buy regularly at this point. Meanwhile I'm sitting on my hands waiting for these damn parsnips and potatoes to grow.

I've also caught and sold some fish, but they don't generate much cash.

Go foraging every day, generates good cashflow

Is there still a cursor for controls? I remember the controller support for PC had a cursor which is kinda .. like mouse control instead.

Perhaps consider the possibility that before designing the OP I consulted with moderators on exactly what type of thread and title would be appropriate.

On the topic of a second thread, I'm glad there's one for the Switch specifically. It's informative without things being overbearing. I guess I like that some of us are learning and discovering together. On top of that, I personally kind of see this thread as a celebration of an excellent third party/indie game on the Switch.

The crackling audio was worse than I expected so I think I'll hold off on playing more until the patch. I'm surprised this wasn't caught prior to release, is it not happening to everyone? Glad to see everything else about the port seems pretty good.

Maybe I'll pick up Axiom Verge in the meantime.

Anyway, back on topic. I'm so tempted to get this but I've already bought so many games recently. I should at least beat friggen rabbits first or golf story. Otherwise I know I'll get sucked in. Who knows, if I hold out long enough I might catch a sale.... (Fuck it lol I'm buying it tomorrow).

First time playing it. Didn't think I'd like it but always like to try new stuff. I am really enjoying it so far! Of course still early, but 8 days in and enjoying just fishing and trying to get a bigger backpack. Only similar games I played were Animal Crossing & Minecraft and this already feels better than Minecraft and a potential rival to AC. Having a quest list and a much more faster progression system than AC is great as its not based on real time.

Soyeah, pretty cool now I'm
about to see the Wizard.
dunno how many secrets this game will have, but can't wait to see them!
