The game you put most hours into

Around 5k hours on Guild Wars 2, through a chunk of that is afking/idling.

Probably follow by Minecraft at around 200 hours (PC and mobile together).

I am sure it is World of Warcraft, which I played from beta until shortly before the release of TBC. Tactical Ops, an UT mod, could come close though as I played that for years too.

Also played a lot of MAG on PS3 but it won't come even close to the previous mentioned ones. Managed to get the platinum in MAG though, everyone who played the game knows how much work is needed for it.

After that, all the yearly versions of Fifa, PES and Footballmanager (mainly EA version) and a version of Civilization.

Hot Shots Golf: Out of Bounds

I'm guessing I played about four hours a night online for two years. A lot of it was chatting in the lobbies but, still... That estimate could be low, lol.

Many nights getting on at 7 PM when the regulars would start showing up and playing til like 4 AM.

Last time I remember checking my hours in FFXI it was well over three years worth of hours. Its not surprising though since I played that game for a good 7-8 years.

Absolutely no where near most of you lot. Think I clocked about 120 hours in the original dark souls. I'd be surprised if I'd clocked 50 plus hours in more than a dozen games over the past twenty years. This generation it's probably between bloodborne and driveclub at around 50 hours each for a guess.

Totally Runescape. I played that for a good 5-6 hours a day at least 5 days a week.

It was my jam. I wish I could go back with a good computer and actually run it.

After that it's easily The Binding of Isaac. I've played a good 1000 hours, at least. And with Afterbirth+, I'm putting more time in.

After that either Fallout 3 or New Vegas, or Skyrim. I've played the shit out of all of them.

Warhammer: Age of Reckoning.

I had something like 4000+ hours into it when it was shuttered. For all of its awful flaws, it's still my favorite MMO to this day.

Before timers, though, I used to play the shit out of MVP Baseball 2005 for the Gamecube. I played through ten total seasons, every out of every inning. I have no idea how much time that was (especially including the incredible mini-games in there), but there was so much time spent in that game.

Possibly 4-5k hours on Runescape over a few accounts and Halo 3 with 3k hours over multiple accounts. Oblivion is probably my most played single player game at 1k+ hours. Fucking loved me some skooma.

Back in the day, Tribes (so so many hours). These days I don't really put tons of hours into games but a few that stand out are Paragon, Mount & Blade: Warband (both ~150 hours), SimCity (~100 hours) and starting to play PUBG. If I can get around 50 hours into a game I've justified the purchase and usually move onto something new.

Like many here, WoW takes this category here. Put in over 10,000 hours in just about 3 years. I then quit cold turkey and never looked back.

Pokémon Emerald. I completed the National Dex. In Gen 3, with all of the link cable, GameCube, going to real life events bullshit.

Doom 2. By far. Just replayed it once again and going through a level pack. Gameplay is still great, gzdoom gives widescreen support and resolution bump.

The fact that Carmack kept it so open and let community mod it freely truly make it one of a kind.

Probably WoW, maybe Ultima Online, but I have no idea of the actual numbers

Top on Steam is TF2 at around 635

Action Quake2 might have been more than TF2, but probably still less than WoW/UO

other Steam toppers are Kerbal Space Program, Rocket League, Monday Night Combat, Ultimate Chicken Horse, Binding of Isaac Rebirth

Final Fantasy XI. I am confident no game (and its community) will ever come remotely close to devouring my time the way that one did.

WoW.

Played hardcore during most high school, so a solid 3 years of getting home at 4pm and playing until 11pm m-f. I don't even wanna know how many hours I'd put during the weekends.

These days probably League of Legends. I got into it this march and I've been pretty hooked.
