The game you put most hours into

Yep. My god, I put 100 hrs into Skyrim over 3 months and felt like I played that all the time.

18000 hours? I literally have not had enough free hours in the last 10 years with work and kids and family to do that.

Ark for me. Over 2K hours.
I know gaf doesn't like that game because neogaf, but I've had a blast with it playing on private servers with a few people.

Hey everyone, this is Dusk Golem aka AestheticGamer. I have posted on NeoGAF since 2011, and have decided to resign. I have enjoyed posting about horror games here for years, but I no longer wish to support the site and will be leaving for good. I will still be around the internet, I go by AestheticGamer on YouTube, I make games on Steam as Yai Gameworks, and I plan to go by Dusk Golem on other forums. I'll be joining an off-set of the GAF community leaving to try other ventures like ResetEra (Official Twitter for that here: https://twitter.com/reseteraforum ). I hope some of you who read this may consider it, and I plan to try to expose more people to horror games in the years to come. Just not here.

I hope you all are having a good day, and know I always loved the community, and in the end it's the community I'm going to stick with, not the site itself. If you want to follow me, my official Twitter is here: https://twitter.com/AestheticGamer1

League of legends by a quite frankly ridiculous amount of time. Dark souls 3 is second at around 600 hours due to the amount of time chilling in fight clubs with my friends.

1270 hours for Mario Kart 8 Wii U. If you combine it with my 220 hours on Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, it's 1490 hours total.

I don't believe I've ever played another game that much before.

Warcarft 3 for sure. I used to play custom maps (which are basically mods) all weekend, every weekend for a long time.
Should be over 1000 hours for sure, probably close to 2000.

I also played a ton of Hearthstone, but not as much as WC3
More recently I played over 300 hours of Shadowverse.

As for offline games, I replayed KH2 like 5 times, sometimes plus optinal bosses, so that should easily be over 200 hours of playtime.
I also played over 200 hours of The Last Remnant.

Other 100+ hours games include Dissidia Final Fantasy, FF12 and Baldurs Gate 2.

PSO, runescape and WoW will dominate this thread haha. I'm impressed you put that much time into RE5 though. Personally mine is 600 hrs in FF 11 and 400 in xenoblade chronicles (about the same in XCX).

Edit: I used to play competitive smash bros melee so that's actually gonna be the top.

Over 2,000 hours on FFXIV since 2.0. Have since taken an extended break from the game. And thousands upon thousands of hours playing Pokemon over the years.

4k hours in Destiny, followed by years of playing fighting and multiplayer games including Saturn Bomberman and Guardian Heroes.

With all of my playthroughs of the ME Trilogy combined on X360, PS3, and XONE (through backwards compatibility), I've easily put over 200 hours into the trilogy. Funny thing is, I still feel the urge to do another playthrough or two lol.

For me it was because I was in school. I was really efficient at studying so my time was basically School/MMO/Girlfriend for a number of years.

Mmos were really cost effective for a poor student.

Now that im a working adult I have far less time, so I tend to avoid MMOs for the most part.

Xenoblade Chronicles, about 187 hours in less than two weeks.
This game sucked my soul, and I enjoyed every bit of it!

Halo Reach. Not my favorite multiplayer of the series, but it was the last Halo that all of my local friends got, and that's my go to series, so i ended uip spending a lot of time in MP.

Easily World of Warcraft. Outside of MMOs I'd have to say Chrono Trigger. I don't have any hours specifically but I played the game obsessively on release and always do a few playthroughs yearly.

FF14 without question.

I avoided MMOs so long because I'm not a PC gamer but a boring December, a $9.99 pan sale, and a great looking PS3 version got me through the door.

Thousands of hours later I'm the leader of a static and still enjoy the game. Never thought I would be here.

They added a /playtime to the game but I am honestly hesitant to ever see it.

COD4:
PS3 version: 90 hours
360 version: 800 hours
Wii version: 70 hours
PS4 version: 100 hours

So around 1000 total hours

oh yeah...i forgot 500 hours into each smash bros brawl and mario kart wii.

so addicted to those games. played so much online

Has to be Windows Solitaire across various Windows versions since 95. No concrete number though.

Traditional gamewise, it's Spelunky with 480hrs. Forced myself to stop.
Don't play multiplayer, so I don't see any game getting much higher.

Silent Hill. I played the shit out of it when it came out. It was the reason I ended up buying a PS1 and getting back into video games. It's so sad what happened to the series. Apart from that, Dark Souls. I played it solidly for over 2 years. Did different builds, runs, challenges all kinds of shit. I played it so much that I'm still burnt out from it and have never managed to finish the sequels. I think I played DS3 for about 15 minutes and couldn't be arsed with it.

Probably have a few hundred hours before Steam release but I stopped playing months ago. Haven't had the urge to return.

Have a couple hundred so far in Conan Exiles too. Involved RP servers keep it interesting.

Thousands of hours into cs 1.3-1.6 and the original cod

Mw2 I had Like 14 days worth of play time

Pokemon diamond I have exactly 555 hours.

I'd imagine I would have put similar times in for pokemon red/blue/silver/gold

Played the Counter strike series for many hours over the course of many years. Back when the game was an actual half life mod, pre steam days through global offensive.

Dota 1 > Ragnarok Online > MU Online > O2Jam > Counter Strike 1.6 > Diablo 2

Everything else would just be in the hundreds of hours.

Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory.

Played it damn near every day from 2003 to about 2007. Then I didn't play it for about 7 years. Got back into it a couple years ago and am playing almost every day again.

I'd estimate probably somewhere around ~5000 hours total if I had to guess.

I've put a ridiculous amount of hours into XCOM2, and a lot of time into KH1 after playing through every single version. Maybe now that my new PC is up and running I can get back into XCOM1 without it crashing on me

WoW for sure (played from launch through WOTLK, stopped, and then came back for Legion). Though I certainly sunk a ton of time into SSB: Melee and, most recently, Witcher 3.

It's easy when all that time is spent as a student, and all your friends play the game as well. It basically becomes one giant circle of addiction.

It has to be Halo 1 & 2 but I have no idea how much time it was.

170 for Rainbow Six Siege is a more interesting answer and more than likely third place.

It's WoW for me, no game will ever top it the rest of my life. I played it pretty regularly for years. Don't remember what my /played is, but I'm sure it's atleast 50 days worth.
